Acustia Nebula 3
I've searched around trying to find some detailed info on the Nebula 3 and one thing is eluding me. I've submitted a support ticket to Acustia hoping to get a solution. So far I don't see how it is possible to use Nebula 3 in a live situation as an effect to a Native MIDI VST. There's about a second...

Thanks to everyone in this thread. I learned a heckuva lot.

I did it. Just to get rid of the annoying crackle every thirty seconds. Thank G-d my wife doesn't read this forum - for both reasons

Huh? I tried searching on Google but all I come up with is:jhulk wrote:keep on to that korg dsm-1 new 24 mb upgrade with 32bit processor and resonance added for the filters

Is that it? Do you know of a timeframe?
Re: Uhe diva
I downloaded the Diva demo. Blown away. I will say this. It sounds a million times better through SCOPE than my MOTU 828 Mk II. I think I'm gonna spring for it because of the presets which are phenomenal. I can see where this will replace most, if not all of my other synth VSTs. It has the real deal...

Re: OSCiLLOT
Okay! Thanks for the soap-opera. Let me just say I actually like checking out VST's. I don't spend a whole lot of time on it but when I find one I like I'll drop it into my VST folder. I'll get a trial and check it out in Cantible, push it thjrough SCOPE and if I like it I'll wait around for a sale ...

Those will work. Sorry, I'm in the USA so I sent the Amazon USA link! The length is really for your convenience as it will not affect the signal quality. Just don't put a bend in them! Cheers!

Re: Steinberg VST System Link
Good that you got it working. Can you use ADAT for a cleaner signal ? I have just Luna II's cards, one in master computer + 2xPulsar XTC and 2xLunaII's here (slave) computer. If i had another digital input in my master computer that would be nice :) So, if a add Adat Luna expansions on both sides, ...

The final frontier! The Tripp Lite LS606M 600 watt Line Conditioner 6 Outlet 120 volt did the trick. I've got about 40db total clean monitoring headroom squeezed out.

On a side note... Do you have V-Stack working on Win 8.1? I have tried forever to get it working with no success. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Analog Output Noise
I played with the gain trim on the Mackie Big Knob some more and put a toroid on the input side to the Mackie from the Luna out. I got it down around 7db or so more. I can live happily with this and if the Tripp-Lite doesn't have much to add it wouldn't hurt to give it to my son for his setup.

NP. I've been using Hum-X devices for forever with good results for ground loops. The problem here is not 60Hz hum or buzzing but higher frequency noise that sounds like EFI or RFI.

Re: Analog Output Noise
The laptop is on AC and the noise is really much less than the XW4600. I will try a separate line conditioner for the XW4600 just to cover all bases. I'm going to try the Tripp Lite LS606M 600 watt Line Conditioner 6 Outlet 120 volt which I just picked up on Amazon for $69.40. I might be cheaping ou...

Re: Analog Output Noise
I wasn't able to lower the noise floor much by moving the XW4600 with SCOPE 5.1 to the same filtered mains as the laptop with MOTU 828 Mk II but it seemed to help a smidgeon. I adjusted the control room output through the Luna 2 up about 3 or 4 db and also put the SoftEnhancer on it and was able to ...

Re: Aria Standalone Player SCOPE Madness
The bottom line is I don't need the standalone version. It's just that I can't stand it when something doesn't work as advertised. Especially when there's no apparent solution even according to the manufacturer who goes so far as to basically say "trash your audio card"!!!!

Re: Analog Output Noise
Thanks gary. I am running the new system off of a different mains. I'm going to hook everything up as it was in the Dell 8250 days through the same filtered mains and see if that helps. Thanks, as usual.
