Re: Eventide SPACE reverb
However, the Sustainiac looks interesting. The eBow only sustains one string at a time.

Re: No Samplerate, No Audio
What windows are you running, motherboard, ram etc. Havent seen this before, but the more technically inclined might have some ideas if you give some more system specs. What happens if you toggle to Slave then back to Master ?

Re: sample modeling? a gem I just found
I quite liked the demo that the keyboard player played of the Sax brothers. But you'd have to be just about as skilled on keyboard as the sax player is on sax to get that good a demo.

Re: When The Sun Shines
Could be, hard to tell since its not how I would 'like' to hear it if I had recorded it at decent sample rate, with Scope converters, and with the Rode Classic II, and what I know today. If I ever bumped into a vocalist as good I'd record the vocal again, treating what I got as a guide vocal. But as...

Re: When The Sun Shines
I know what you mean, unfortunately I was dumb enough to record it with reverb on the input instead of applying later. In the past I've gated the reverb trails out between syllables when thats been the case (but yeah SPL could be a better choice for that). It was also in the days of mid 90 Pentium I...

When The Sun Shines
I had tweaked a pad sound on Pro-Wave to perfection, and immediately I imagined it behind a vocal recorded over a decade ago. The mic engineering wasn't so good back then (overdriven on certain syllables around 6.5k) so I managed to surgically notch much of that out with ConvolveQ, as well as use it...

r u using XITE just to add fx to solaris, or layering w/ other Scope synths ? probably both if I know you... Be interesting to see if S|C bring some of the 21369 assets Klaus developed during Solaris programming back to Scope platform. I'm still waiting for John B. to optimize the Scope version for...

Coolness. Was all that from just one keypress ? Sounds like some rotors in action as well as the walldoofs.

Yep thats a good one Yedorium. Added to the 'Other / Misc' section. http://www.hitfoundry.com/issue_11/tsg_mast.htm Being able to assign interuppts to (or away) from specific processors - interesting - a bit like assigning devices to DSP processors in XITE. Thanks all for contributing to make this a...

Re: SC DSPs and Native Cubase processing Power .... Question
If I only had a Luna and Cubase, I would mix in Cubase then pass the entire mix to Scope, which would just be running one or two mastering plugs. At least MASTERIT then whatever limiter/compressor with any remaining DSP. Maybe Optimaster if you dont have any 3rd party mastering. Then you'll hear the...

Re: XITE-1 + Solaris
Yepp...... I am telling Bowen and Holger that they could sell hundreds of these if they used 2 more LCD's and everytime they used waldorfs there would be pictures of a Wave synth..... To compete with others, Solaris LCD should support at least 4 colour pics, one for each part : 8) http://3.bp.blogs...

Re: XITE-1 + Solaris
But I am still in shock that little square chips could replicate something so robust... At the end of the day, the original analog sounds are just generated by voltages, which digital can do without buying all the parts, its just a matter of resolution, which 96khz 21369 have in spades. Wont be lon...

Re: XITE-1 + Solaris
Yeah but an instrument like this, when living up to its promises, can kinda render the native vs DSP vs Analog debate redundant, coz it transcends platform boundaries.
DSP just let JB build what he wanted to build.

assign midicontroller to the faders; record your sweep; now you may tweak the midifile to perfecton; so that the sweep fits perfecty to you music; as 128 controler are avail you are able to realize different sweep for left and right channel 64*2=128__ for example right channel starts with low frequ...

Ok, see where I took the wrong turn on S|C site, needed to go in via products instead of shop DOH ! So SW = Simms-Watts PA100. Some good examples there, see what you mean. Now, for roughly the same price, its a toss-up with this tasty morsal : http://www.orangetreesamples.com/jaco Or perhaps, eventu...
