Noah and Ableton live 7?
Anyone using Noah and Ableton LIve7? I have sucessfully created several tracks, Midi only, to Live plug ins and external synths, but I encounter problems when doing the misxdown. The problem is very simple - I can't record audio through the inputs of Noah and route it to the corresponding audio chan...

Re: New xite, how many old dsp ?
"Yep, but some of them have been ported to the NOAH. The example is maybe not that obvious as the Scope cards and the NOAH use the same 21065L DSP model. And they just sound as good on both systems." To the above: I own Noah EX, Luna II, Pulsar I and Pulsar II. It is not the DSPs alone tha...
Vocodizer
I am planning to use the NOAH Vocodizer in an assignment for a Master study on ICT in learning which I am doing. I am looking for a good choice of Synthesizer source Input which blends with my voice so that my spoken words become clear and comprehendalble while it still has the character of a Vocode...

Re: Info about the release of SCOPE XITE-1 and SCOPE 5
Hm, I can only imagine that the financial crises also will have implications on the market for the new Xite-1. How big WAS the market when the conceptual design of X1 was conceived, and how large is it now? Few existing Scope users are able to pay 2698,- EUR excl. VAT (Introductory Price) for the ne...

Re: emu xboard25 controller
I believe you have to use a sequencer program to connect the usb device with the Scope environment. I don't think Scope alone lets you identify the E-mu as a device on the routing table / patchboard. In Cubase you may select the Xboard as your MIDI input, and on the same sequencer track you may sele...

Advice needed - recording a rock'n roll band
Tonight and tomorrow I will be recording some friends' rock and roll band at my workplace where there is a studio set up installed by a semi pro recording guy. I have spent som hours thinking how to best set up my computer for this, and I would appreciate some feedback from other Scope users. They a...

Zangsta, I am glad you liked it. The drum part is made using the drum roll pattern in Cubase sent to STS4000 which has loaded a preset drum kit from an old AKAI Bob Clearmountain II drum sample cd. There are no more than 2 different bars which is repeated again and again During the middle section, i...

Thank you for your comments Jimmy and thank you for your inspiring postings recently in the music department! I also find it important not to forget that, to me at least, I am better at playing the keyboard than programming music on Reason, Fruity Loops, Cubase etc. if such a comparison is valid. My...

Hancock meets scope
I came across a live CD with Herbie Hancock and his VSOP orchestra recorded live at the Newport festlval in 76. I really like his modal jazz tunes such ans Cantilope island and Maiden Voyage. My idea was to try to recreate the groove and attitude of Maiden Voyage only using Scope and Cubase. I ran m...

Ahhhhh - the edit all function (Editing Zones) messed things up for me! I wanted the snare drum from a Bob Clarimountain kit (AKAI CD) to go to an individual out by programming at the Zone level. Coul'd not make it work as all assignment changes I made, automatically applied to all zones. Bug, I tho...

One thing is for sure - there no longer exist a business relationship between InDSP and Soniccore: http://www.indsp.com/index.html The InDsp website is totally redesigned and there is no mentioning of Soniccore whatsoever. In fact, the new InDSP site seems to be a whitepaper on marketing strategy mo...
