I believe the new a16 has balanced quarter inch connections (if it's like the old one), with switchable +12 db on each in & -12db over the outs. Talkback is available on PulsarMixer, works well

got mine in guitar factory Parramatta -a16 and Pulsar 1 for $2000 14 months ago - demo model to make way for P2. Finding old stock can be difficult in the wide brown land, and am afraid to look at new Aust. prices (at least until after i start work at Belvoir St next week!) Good luck, Spirit

does anybody know how to use volkzsampler (in xtc) in a direct mode, similar to other xtc instruments? Writing drumloops with that much latency is testing my rhythm skills to a degree that perhaps i don't need, well at least all the time anyway

thanx sub, I have things wired this way, but still nothing ever gets out of cubase to my old D4! Could be a Steinberg thing - would scrubbing the reg of all things cubase then reinstalling be a way to find out? I tried this a year ago without cleaning reg to no avail.

download Awave Studio, open *.akp file in there, then save as *.p (s1000) file. 1 at a time, tho, with the shareware version. I think Marcus Jonsson's (FMJ software) audio apps are fabulous, and well worth forking out for!

I like good music. I am a professional musician in Australia, started playing piano & tuba almost 30 years ago, soon after grabbed a guitar, a bass, a trombone,a Roland Drumatix, a Korg Polysix, a banjo, some drums, etc. Anyway, I feel that if music can do something for the community around you,...

I think this is worse when you are mixing plugs - vst & directx - with CW plugs
