I reinstalled my boards to my main PC, got a Gap Pre on the way(first high sounding preamp, very excited), but i cant get Scope to act right

Im eyeing Windows embedded, and not understanding why there is not Daw only version of windows, with all of the bells and whistles stripped out.

My reasoning for the lack of the Akai portion stems from the fact that I'm sure it's an old algorithm that may not play well with 64 bit. Besides the ECC for tube emulation , what would I use to emulate Resistors, Capacitors and Transformers. I'm a complete noon at EE, but have a knack for creating things and taking the time to learn

thanks. as far as synths goes, i think modular covers that whole gamut, was looking to emulate more on the effects side, preamps and stuff of that nature, alas as i do not have an SDK license nor a 15 dsp pro card to even request one its still a pipe dream at this point.
