Re: Out of nostalgia question JBridge usage

MIDI in Cubase goes a looooong way, it is amazing, I'm afraid it is the best in the marked. The MIDI Remote Mapping Assistant, for instance, it is a dream come true. I knew almost everyone of the "MIDI pioneer times" Steinberg crew as also founders of C-Lab/Emagic in person. Both companie...

Re: USB Midi Keyboard in Scope

Keep in mind that the way you route is also related to your workflow, if you are interested, and only recording the audio and are a good player, routing directly into scope would make sense. If, however, you want to record the midi and the audio, or only the midi, you would want to route your USB m...

Re: USB Midi Keyboard in Scope

I´ll attach a "Ocean Swift Synthesis" device, Faxi posted long time ago somewhere here ... It allows routing a USB Controller keyboard directly into SCOPE 64Bit without launching any VST host or such. It works for me on my Win7 Pro SP1 Z97 DAW machine w/ XITE-1 and SCOPE v7.0 x64. Might wo...

Re: Win 10 Scope 7 crash with SAWStudio64 Asio

I know Bud - it seems absurd. I'm no expert but I have done a lot of this over the years. I've never had such difficulty connecting to the internet. I'll track it down. I know the router and cables are good as it connects perfectly when I use the Win 10 system disk. B.t.w.,- I´m using the same proc...

Re: Win 10 Scope 7 crash with SAWStudio64 Asio

...I cannot get an internet connection with Win7, wired ethernet or WiFi. Have tried most things I know with updating correct drivers etc. Both internet connections work with Win10. What ? I´m running Win7 SP1 x64 om my main DAW machine and it worked flawlessly w/ Scope 7 x64, Reaper AND internet c...

You have to open Reaper before of opening the other apps that will be using Rearoute, otherwise you will see a wrong buffer when selecting the Rearoute driver. The reported buffer should be the same of the ASIO driver selected inside Reaper, for example, Asio Scope.
Thank you djm !

System requirements want "8-core processor".

It also works if you use "ASIO Link Pro" as per these instructions: https://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic.php?p=343973&hilit=bsod+asio#p343973 Scope v7 x64 ASIO worked for me w/ all DAWs,- Reaper latest builds, Studio One Pro 4.x, Reason 10.4.x and 11.4.x ... I just only got some mi...

Re: Dante I/O device

I have mixed several songs with the STM on the PCI cards back in the 2000, the phase alignment was not bad at all, but for the best result, all the final mix session must be done in one go. You´re welcome ! Wasn´t that the rule in the big commercial studios of the 70s and 80s anyway, when there was...

Happyness w/ the little Nektar,- congrats ! I too find my "small" synthaction controller keyboards workable,- but ... I´m curious on the new NI Komplete Kontrol S88 mk 3 w/ a new Fatar poly AT weighted hammer action. It weights 13.5 kilos, close to the Studiologic Numa X 88 stage piano (14...

i got the E version which is spec'ed lower than the base 13900 yet it also kicks up above 200W for short loads... but the 'base' power is 65W and overall it goes cooler than i7 4790 i previously had (maybe i'll put that mobo with 4PCI and that processor here for sale - it's really fine) My main DAW...

Re: Dante I/O device

Hi Bud! Dante Virtual Soundcard has a minimum latency of 4ms "for the network" PLUS whatever you set for Dante ASIO driver itself (can be as low as 32 samples) PLUS whatever you set for a buffer in-between Dante ASIO and the network (could be as little as 1ms). i have my netork at 4ms, as...

Re: Dante I/O device

Yeah,- my post was meant ironically,- almost. as I suspected, but anyway... :D The M Macs (and mobile devices) ... sound processing is strangely „over-precise“, maybe technically close to perfect, but not pleasing to the ear if it’s the origin of every source in a mix. It just doesn‘t sound right.....
