Re: NAMM 2013

Jhulk: Where can I buy this and any other packs that you have assembled? I'm a huge fan of 90s romplers and other PCM based synthesis like D50s and am totally in line with your inspirational hardware ;)

Re: NAMM 2013

dave smith said its osc are based on the prophet 8 and the evolver as seeing the digital osc of the evolver are additive spectra from the prophet vs and are able to load 128 samples single cycle spectra i would think that the pro 12 would have this capability he is using dsp for all this part but u...

Re: NAMM 2013

So now the big question is: I have 3000$ burning a hole in my pocket, do I purchase a Solaris or a Prophet 12?!? :-? But Solaris will sound better from the digital connections, and the extra Waldorfs and VS Wavetables are crucial to making sounds that subtractive synths can't touch, but mixing them...

Re: Adern summer sale

Yeah I guess he's busy atm... I'm just wondering if someone who has the videos could tell me the rough breakdown and whether it's better to just enroll in the next batch of classes. I'm also curious if anyone here has purchased has grabbed The Laboratory of Patching by Roland Kuit http://rolandkuit....

Re: Adern summer sale

Can anyone who purchased the modular courses give me a run down of the chapters/material covered? I always want to broaden my understanding of VM synthesis and well my budget atm only allows for these videos or SoundLab1 for my G2..

Thanks for any feedback :)

Re:

The funny thing is I've always had a minor issue with mine where the input metering after some time of the unit being turned on and used would begin to randomly spike. No input level would be present (of course) when this was happening, but the A16 would make the same 'sizzling' noise it always doe...

Re: Vectron waveforms

Just discovered this thread, Thanks!! Lots of love and work went into this :) Not wanting to be a thread hijacker or simply a waveform junky, but would anyone happen to have the TG33 waveforms handy since I'm really looking for that cold dronish character, I'm actually working on a TG33 modIV patch ...

Re: which synth taught you most about synthesis?

Started with Nord Lead, but after learning that my favorite psytrance producers were using CW cards I grabbed a PulsarII back in 2001... Only until I started using ModII did I really delve into what sub/fm synthesis entailed, I loved it so much I grabbed a second 15dsp card & a NordG2+Exp from N...

Re: AudioGL

the only thing that impressed me is the amount of cash asked for a handful of ideas 'borrowed' from a freeware synth (SunVox) for an unfinished product. Thanks for the tip on SunVox, looks really nice actually! I'm not too quick to bash the developer and his intentions and/or methods. I respect the...

Do the people who were "burned" by the first versions (not so good sound quality) will get upgrade discounts? I hope they post sound samples or even a demo device before the offer expires...

Anyone try out the Beta? Looks quite impressive! Any chance we can petition the parsec developers to orient themselves in this direction? Do you think it could work with scope? Imagine a 3D grid of Modulars & Solarises For real info hit the site http://www.audiogl.com/en/ but I would suggest rat...

Re: How many XITE-1's out there?

Received mine last week... Man, the design on this thing is sliiiicccckkkkk... :o Still haven't received my keys for flexor for the new hardware but modular IV is quite ridiculous, it's like getting a 20000$ eurorack all at once, ie. like learning to swim by jumping in the Atlantic ocean :P So many ...

Re: Scope 6 SDK + XITE-1 + Scope 5.1 - 40% off offer

Got an email from Julian clarifying some points on the environment and all. Sounds good even though the v6 road map seems a little blurry but I guess I can't be too impatient for a proper revolution (with proper documentation!) ^^ If there is a JIRA for tracking SDK issues I'm gonna be all over it :...

Re: Scope 6 SDK + XITE-1 + Scope 5.1 - 40% off offer

I'm currently discussing with the Ariana @ SC myself but I made some inquiries on the SDK and I have yet to receive a response. I guess they must be swamped with other things. Anyhow, has anyone here used the SDKv6 and if so can please point me to some information regarding development. I'm interest...

Re: Exchanging old boards for an Xite-1?

neuromantik i still use a p4 6 pci comp for my 36 dsp system and it works solid apart from tiny bugs in 5.1 thats the same for xite-1 users modIV will work with your system as long as yo have 5/5.1 32bit is the best way to go as there are more problems with 64bit as these devs were written in 32bit...
