Re: Forget Cubase and Xite. This is the future of modrn recordin

I remember something like UAD cards also had (or have) a similar issue with AMD multicores... might be worth looking that way too

I'm using a QX6800 quad core on a DFI LanParty X38 mobo, and XTC works like a charm with all 4 cores on (win 7 with core parking disabled)

Yes! Valis ! Where are you ? How do we detect & fix phase problems ? And also DC problems such as in modular..? Just test it. Load up a Scope reverb as a send effect. Use the plug-ins internal bypass (bypassing on the DSP). Phase-invert the channel. Insert Voxengo Latency Delay (free) before th...

Re: What is wrong with this, please?

scope plugs in XTC need to be "opened" (GUI visible) while the DAW identifies them as VSTs (on plugin scan). This is a big issue with Sonar (there is a weird registry key that needs to be changed, and scan the plugins on DAW startup, otherwise they are not found). Reaper recognizes them in...

Re: STM2448 controlled via midi through YAMAHA 01V - Successful!

Hi,

I do a similar scheme with Wolf's mixers and a Mackie Control.
Can be up to 32 faders (stereo channels), pan, mute, solo, bus and aux sends, and I write the automation in Reaper or Sonar.

Re: xite and vista

I'm using it on Windows 7.

Works perfectly.

Win7 is much better than Vista for audio apps, but the drivers and the soft should work equally on both.
