Where does the Scope platform go?
Five years ago they announced Scope 6. Today nothing is known at all. There is only life in third party plugin developers. Soniccore does not give life signals. I love this platform, but I need to know what future awaits. Some bugs continue on 64bit. Some devices do not work on Xite. I would like to...

Re: Its been a long time :)
Still curious if the Z-Link works between cards though, which would give me 18 stereo outputs from the Pulsar. I'd be careful with that. The z-link connection Scope cards includes the transmission of power (besides audio). Maybe you can avoid the transmission of power with a firewire cable 6 pin / ...

probably. there is a plan to make a MADI i/o card to replace the Z-Link card.
Wow!!!... That would be perfect ... my dream.

Re: Why put XITE on a second computer?
there's no advantage to be gained It is an idea that can lead us to take advantage of the protocol Zlink our Xite, and leave the ADAT connection for other purposes as it is standard protocol (Zlink it is not). No ADDA converters on the market with Zlink. Only A16 Ultra. However there is a wide rang...

Re: Why put XITE on a second computer?
maybe you're correct, and maybe there will be damage, or maybe it just won't work. i believe it's impossible to slave to Z-Link, anyway. experiment if you like, there's no advantage to be gained(no way to sync the two devices), and a chance that there will be damage. If I had a Luna Box, I had left...

Re: Why put XITE on a second computer?
Even though Z-link has the same connector at both ends, I get the impression one device is the master and the other must be a slave. A master would expect (and talk to) only a slave. However, both the XITE and the PCI Z-link are masters. So they are both sending commands, but nobody is listening (t...

Re: Why put XITE on a second computer?
No no no... The Xite z-link & pci z-link are not the same z-link... I have 2 Luna i/o and when I had my Xite, I wanted to plug them into my new toy -> nada. I ask some explanation to S|C and they told me they are not the same z-l.... I believe that the data format are not the same, mmm, no I do...

Re: Why put XITE on a second computer?
maybe, but i don't think that the pinouts on Z-Link are necessarily the same as on Firewire... And no one knows?... Knowing the distribution of Xite Z-link pin (current interface even manufactured) can you tell which pins remain unused, so they know those who carry the strain on the PCI Z-link. Xit...

Re: Why put XITE on a second computer?
Sure you can ! As PCI & Xite are linked via adat... And why not link pci scope and Xite by z-link ?. I understand that z-link pci cards send voltage, and the z-link Xite no, but ... could not remove the tension on the wire using a FireWire cable 6/4 pin, and then a adapter 4/6 pin ?. I think th...

Can you do? ... I had not thought of it that way. Very good.dante wrote:I am yet to test running 64 bit scope for XITE and 32 bit scope for PCI simultaneously - but it would probably work eg for STS.

motherboard GA-P35-DS3R ???
I ask myself a question. I have the opportunity to buy a second hand pc. The computer has a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R and a Core 2 Quad 6600 2.4GHz. I do not know how to operate the motherboard with Scope PCI + Xite-1 together. I have read things about the allocation of IRQ's and the like but do not know...

Re: pci board + Xite-1 together
I hoped to build on all inputs and outputs of both cards but I somehow can not be done.
Thanks to all... you have helped me a lot.

pci board + Xite-1 together
Hi.
I wonder if they can work together a Scope Pro + Xite-1 on the same PC.
In the case of possible... How would I do?
Thank you.
