Re: Tape-Delay video

Well, based on the current progression, give it another year or 10 and it might be fixed :)

Re: Tape delay 64 bits

I remember that it crashed 64 bit pc but some working .sys files have been released. Called "Tapedelay64.sys" and "tapeDelayShort64.sys", There was more than that. The modules themselves were updated and the scope driver was updated. The updates were never official, and SC do no...

You do realize of course, that both of the personas you're referencing here are politicians? Of course:) You make some good points in your post, it's hard to adress all on mobile here in summery Austria (15 degrees celcius is NOT what i packed for, but i am NOT claiming it as proof of global warmin...

Re: Green science

I guess its nothing shocking but I am pretty convinced we do make alterations to the climate with extensive CO2 emissions. I am not saying there are no other factors to climate change than this (of course there is), but i think it is a factor. I am not saying Ms Ocasio is right in her prediction, bu...

yeah. did it help to set the fans to auto? I changed them in the BIOS w/o looking. Think I’ll try out auto today and check temps. I usually let those bastsrds roar @ 22k to hover around 53C. How high you think I can run at safely. Ever since my over heating @ that outdoor gig, I be tripping. It was...

Re: 64bit drivers and modules: what is working and what is not

Yeah see i how came off wrong. I am talking about the ASIO drivers, not the wave drivers, but i didn't specify that clearly until my second comment. Thats why i linked to the discussion on ASIO driver performance in the first comment. Wave drivers would be nice of course, making it possible to use m...

Re: 64bit drivers and modules: what is working and what is not

By "true 64 bit driver" I mean a driver that handles 64bit adresses properly, as windows 10 (from what i learned in the thread i linked to) loads into 64bit space compared to windows 7 which loads into 32bit space. I am referring to ASIO drivers here. I would think when audio drivers are m...

Re: 64bit drivers and modules: what is working and what is not

It's not straight forward, but as far as i understand there still is no true 64bit drivers, they are 32 bit drivers made "usable" on 64 bit systems to put it in a simplified way. It's of course a bit more complicated than that, but they will not work opmtimal in 64bit enviroments, especial...

If you are willing to look away from scope alternatives, you should try the free Dexed VSTi.

Install and launch Reaper, if that doesnt see the drivers, something is wrong with your install. In that case, reinstall scope, you can do this on top of existing install. Watch out for errors, especially regarding permissions etc.

Re: Vcv Rack open source great Modular

If i understand things correctly, 8 ins and outs. And, atleast when used standalone, you can use several audio interfaces, just add Audio mudules and choose device. So when/if SC fixes their drivers for win 10, or if you have an earlier version of windows, its pretty flexible :) Easy to set up one i...
