Re: looking back at 2012

Changed everything : Switch priorities in life, music becomes more a hobby atm. Started a new regular job in steel carburization, constant money income. Lost a love, found a new one, maybe. Rented and moved to a new flat, with enough rooms for a pretty project studio. My sister got a baby, I feel ol...

Yeah its a 40min travel away from my place to the Oktoberfest. You can see them all around here.
My most strange thought about them, when they fall down and lay on the ground, does their feet reach the ground? 8)

Re: which synth taught you most about synthesis?

Looks like a versatile practical synth, I'll see if it's still floating around. Any particular reason you like it over others? Characteristic sound? Many sync sound, fm between the OSCs and on the filter amp too, S/H, somehow it reminds me on older SciFi films or on the lead sound from welcome to m...

Re: which synth taught you most about synthesis?

JD-800 was ,my first real synth I bought and it was great, because it was all available in front of you, not many menu joggling, a knob or fader under your fingers for the most parameters, very quick to program. I sold it one day and I still wish I had not. Ah Ken, I think it is not available anymor...

Re: sylenth1 test run

:D Tom as its best, great. Welcome back to your roots, I mean your ears. :D But that leads me to a old pain in my head. Sure our Scope synths beat any native ones but only in its sonic quality. When it comes to new approaches of instrument creations, experimenting around w/ synthesis forms. Combinin...

Re: compression when recording

In todays digital tracking world I like to record everything unprocessed, because when you come back to the recordings one day,for a remix f.e. you could find it welcome that your recordings aren't processed. Just keep an eye on a good leveling and rec. The compression due recording is a relict from...

Re: I am 11

Sorry bebecrystal, I have overseen your question. I was lucky to use the native version of Lexicon Reverbs on the whole session remix. They are great but to expensive for my taste. If I remember right it is the random hall reverb w/ a preset I made, the tip on all was automating the Aux level of the...

Re: HALO 4 REMIX COMP

Downloading the stems and will listen to it. When I get inspired I maybe contribute.
But my first thought was to regret it, because they left the PC versions out after Halo 1, bought by M$ to promote their XBox only.
But Halo 1 was great for that time, walk, drive, fly in one game.

Hi Ed and welcome to Z, you'll like it.

I just try to circle in the prob.
When you say that you use plug ins, do you mean native or scope intern plugs?

Second, how does your system quits ? Blue screen or how?

I am sure Z will find a solution.

(honest) Thanks for the link to the GTS4 pdf Gary. Indeed a interesting lecture.
(honest mode off) I am satisfied that they share it with us. I think they take care of us by sharing this, or?
