Re: v7 drivers (64bit)

Just to confirm: under Windows 7, the ASIO driver is loaded into 32-bit space. Therefore no problem. If this is the issue, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle for SC to fix as far as i can see, which is great. Pedantic me would probably say it's a strange oversight to let this pass on a release fo...

Re: v7 drivers (64bit)

w_ellis, the Juce crash was probably driver related. This case has some similarities to this thread: https://forum.juce.com/t/asio-devices-crashing-in-64bit/18795/15 as far as i can decrypt it :) Good work DragonSF. This could explain a lot, but one thing is nagging me; the different behaviour in wi...

Re: Midi cc modulators/lfo

I might be misunderstanding, but any LFO etc in modular can easily output midi to your sequencer, if you have a value monitor with an assignable slider. i use Flexor for this, see http://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic. ... ur#p251832

" running the simulator in X64 mode survives the system call, but generates an exception (access violation)"
I guess that is in Win 10? or do you get the same access violation in win 7 64bit, or running your simulator in compability mode?

Re: v7 drivers (64bit)

Maybe it will be useful to look at VCV rack as well? As far as i know it uses portaudio, I never got it working on 64bit Scope ASIO on win 10, but others claim they have it running on Win 7 64bit. See http://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=35180&p=331119&hilit=vcv#p331119 . At ...

Holy Crap. I love you.
I guess the new minimax is backwards comp regarding presets? I will upgrade one day for sure, the timing is just bad at the moment.

Re: Styledriver 5000+ Library

Thanks for these.

I couldn't get the minimax presets working, are these for Minimax V7? I am still on 5.1.
The rest are working, too bad the presets aren't categorized or named.

Re: Another reason to consider Ryzen ?

While the "Meltdown" breach is hitting intel CPUs, both AMD and Intel CPUs are vulnerable for the "Spectre" breach, so they are basically both compromised.

Re: Moog Modular Interview - who is this early adopter ?

Hmm... Could it be Klaus Schulze? From the extract, at least it sounds like the interviewee had about the same exaggerated use of the phrase "you know", a similar dialect, he was briefly a member of Tangerine dream and bought a moog modular from Florian Fricke (Tangerine dream had their ow...

i see there is some kind of time out when it comes to deleting posts; i can delete a post i just made, but i cant delete a post made further up in this thread? It might always have been this way, and it might be the best solution, I'll just edit the post.

Jsut a little update on the HTTPS bit; when i use the url https://forums.... it works. If i go directly to forums.planetz.com it doesn't activate HTTPS. I seem to remember HTTPS:// to be activated even if i didn't use it in my url, but my memory might serve me wrong.

Regarding images, i used the "insert image" button and used pasted my image url https://imgur.com/a/xZ2Lf between the brackets, so i am not sure why it doesn't work. the link itself appears to work. Regarding the padding, I have no problems with new layouts, i just wanted to highlight this...

Re: Forum Update

Hey, nice job! A couple of observtions, just small things: - You have probably noticed, but maybe the alignment of the Planet Z logo should be revised to align it with left side of layout - On a more general note, maybe something should be done with scaling? i mean, it scales totally fine when makin...
