Thank you, Shoomz to bring it back !
And thank you to Mehdi to have made this device I missed. (And if I did, I mustn't the only one)
Yeah, I missed it too I think JoPo. Well if I tried it, it was many years ago, so I'm gonna give it another try now that I found it again. :)

The Black Dog live on air tonight on Rinse FM

Just a quick heads up that UK electronic music pioneers & techno legends The Black Dog are live on air on Rinse FM tonight on The Clairvoyants techno show. The show is 2 till 5 am UK time and you can listen in on Rinse 106.8FM if you're in the London area, or for everyone else you can stream it ...

Re: SDK6

It's not a known issue in SDK 4 or 5 Roland, so not being an SDK 6 user, I can't help.

Re: Valance (shape 2)

hubird, the main synth bass is from C4T. It hits both on and off the kick drum, which is from Adern's Kick me. The poly synth sound which comes in later in the track is just a tweeked patch on Live's Operator synth.

Re: Valance (shape 2)

53E7, I completely agree mate! If I were to sequence it out properly, I'd do as you say because I feel the same, but got carried away with the live pattern and loop size shifting. Btw the block/rim is actually a pitched down hi hat with the start point shifted/removed in Live. Deceptive sound. I lik...

Valance (shape 2)

Very quick remix of Valance. Very similar sound and also a sort of minimal live jam, but completely different vibe to this. You'll hear some live shuffling/sequencing boo boos, but they kinda add to the character. :D Again, a free download under Creative Commons license. https://soundcloud.com/theza...

Re: Valance

Thanks guys. 53E7, I think quite a few DJs who play on big sound systems have downloaded it. One of they guys who left a comment on SoundCloud has a monthly show on Fnoob techno radio and says he'll try to play it. Also, The Clairvoyants who have a weekly techno show on London's Rinse FM ( 106.8 ) h...

Valance

Hi folks, New track from me. It's just something very simple with a type of sound that I wanted to get. It's basically just boomy broken beat techno and pretty minimal, but it's getting a fairly good reaction! Have a listen if you like and there's a free download too. https://soundcloud.com/thezappa...

Re: Creamware Softclip - tape saturation effect for masterin

Won't people start confusing this with the 'main' soft clip effect ? Good point, since it does come in certain software packages and some people will indeed already have it. Other people on the other hand, won't have it.... I've edited the OP to reflect this, thanks Francis! ;) Either way, no need ...

Re: Creamware Softclip - tape saturation effect for masterin

Yes, it's very useful as a fattening effect too, especially on kick drums, basslines etc or even whole drum breaks/drum mixes. You can easily use the mono softclip to fatten up your kick drum at the same time as slapping the stereo version on your mix bus. You just need to use your ears because it's...

Creamware Softclip - tape saturation effect for mastering

Slightly naughty release because this is a Creamware development and not mine to give away as such, but I'm sure SonicCore will be cool with the Scope community getting a little gift for their loyalty. Besides, this was already used in many of the free devices over the years, including some of the f...

Guess I should edit my post then, apparently it didn't help anyway :) Hi mate, I edited the first posts because I put a link to here on a techno forum yesterday. Kinda doing this in a rush because I'm busy with other stuff. Did you suggest something that I forgot about like setting it to load with ...
