Well I can test the Cubase 5.5.1/Scope PCI 5.0 combo some more with poison/prisma 2night, at least that's half the puzzle and if it works it makes it less likely a steini issue.

Ok will test poison and prisma tomorrow .. On crappy iPhone at the mo. I don't have XITE but I think the cubase plugin scanner picked up my old Scope 4.0 folder in C drive and called that XTC so I will use the synths under Scope-PCI menu.

Well it seems to be working on mine, some of the Scope devices dont load - LightWave 5 gives an error, so this is just normal LightWave. lightwave-xtc.JPG Ive got one automation track and its recorded the movement of 3 knobs on the lightwave. Also not sure why Ive got Scope-PCI as well as XTC synths...

Ive engaged XTC mode, then closed down Scope and started Cubase xtc-01.JPG Then going to VST instruments, where Kontakt and Halion etc show up - but no Scope instruments. What step have I missed ? Try the lead thru a cab setting as well see how it sits. Cab is a no brainer fir me since I got dynatube Marshall.

Is the pod-pro preset only the pre-amp or the cabinet as well ? I like the way the rhythm guitar is double tracked - panned hard L / R - thats how I normally do it with everything else in the centre. Sound pretty good to me maybe a few more FX when you've done the other instruments then maybe chuck ...

I did 5.5.0 => 5.5.1 last night. Will report back on XTC tests this weekend.

Well got me stumped. You could try working in normal Scope (non XTC) mode - get used to it, and hope to find a fix later.

That way you could upgrade to 5.0 and if that didnt fix it, at least you could continue in Scope mode & be content with a bit less latency.

I think - from discussions elsewhere, that the problem is the interconnections on board. Scope PCI and UAD are using connections elsewhere (STDM busses, Host CPU, VST wrappers etc). Yeah but that's not neccessarily your problem I believe Scope 4 should work. If you upgrade to Scope 5 and reinstall your cubase there's a chance the problem will go away though...
