Re: What's your favorite pad ?

theres no advantage in sound or features with 64bit os there are 32bit win7 and win8 and the samplers work in win732bit and you can assign 4gb per program so you dont get the limitations of xp 4gb limit audio is done in 32bit int in scope and you cant save files in 64bit audio only 32bit floating po...

Re: Can I has this on a DSP?

no even though flexor is nice a lot of the modules only allow mono or very li8mited polyphony 1-3 bc modular is free and is a community project that sharc does he creates the modules if you have new ideas for new modules you can put forward the ideas to sharc who will try and create the modules and ...

Re: Can I has this on a DSP?

yes its a 555 timer circuit and makes a very good square wave oscillator they use flipflops for the sub tones the jupiter4 is a very stable oscillator as it uses a ua726 heater transistor mirror pair there is a new 555 oscillator designed by thomas henry and its the closest to a cem3340 there is the...

Re: Can I has this on a DSP?

its just a basic ota design 4 ota in package with resonance feedback the jupiter 6 uses a saw vco core with waveshapers similar to the jupiter4 ir309 is the 4 cascading ota as 4 gain cells you can accomplish this in modular using 4 linear vca controled via a frequency scale which has an expo curve t...

cant you just add a compressor and limiter in modular

set threshold to the minimum you want for the compressor/expander theres one in bc modular and and a limiter set to the max allowed level after the compressor

Re: Aftertouch, ideas?

if you use sharcs mvc it has poly aftertouch and if you have a ensoniq or gems2/3 or any other keyboard that sends it you can get very expressive sounds after touch is great for lfo pitch modulation saves having to use the wheel for the effect or for brass sounds that when you use pressure you open ...

Re: LFO Triggers

the lfo gate input is a trigger input osc sync input on slave re-triggers to the saw output of the master but you can use 2 slave osc and use the output from the first slave into the sync input then any pitch change to either and the slave will re-trigger to the to the master saw output if you want ...

you can develope your own modules in sdk6 as the guisdk is for sdk6 but once you have created the dspatom as a .dll file you can compile it and save to 5.1 module where you can add it in sdk5.1 and use it scope6 will be for any card its the making of custom atoms as .dll files and the sdk you need a...

sdk6 does work on the pci cards i have it installed but we use sdk5.1 beta as its more stable all the new stuff in bc modular is done on 5.1 sdk is so that because it uses the juce framework make it crossplatform and why a lot of developers are using it wusik has been porting there stuff so that it ...
