Don't forget to set up the vdat with tape name and min's.
Just in case you overlook this while troubleshooting.

Re: scope sp analog quez

Gary
Sorry I thought it had the connection for a cable whip with all I|O's
Did not know it was a SP board.

I think you should get a secend hand S|C home card for your I|O's
More DSP's and better Latency as others ave mentioned

Re: scope sp analog quez

As far as I can tell he only needs a cable whip without the plate that will attach to the cards cable whip attachment.
It sort of looks like an old printer port, which He has.

E-mail S|C or ask around for only the cable whip.
And you are set. Midi I/O audio I/O spdif etc.

I use FX teleport over LAN with 4 slave computers to my main computer (Scope Machine) and my setup works like a charm!

If you go this route I would recommend you use gigabyte Ethernet with a gigabyte switch.

I'll attempt to explain. You CANNOT use this method when using scope. You have to mix down in real time.(press play and rec the mix as you hear it, like you would if you were rec on a dat, tape, 1/4 inch etc....). Forget about fast export altogether when using sfp. I use to use this in Cubase before...

I will try to have 5.0 and 4.5 installed and work on already started projects in 4.5 and start new ones on 5.0.

Of coarse there will be some testing period for me on 5.0 until I am comfortable with it.
