Re: Tape delay 64 bits

Thanks a lot for the info ! Actually, I was convinced some newer files were working. But it seems I was wrong. I can't even load the module without a crash... Pity... I had a great idea to modulate the delay time with the Flexor elastic modulation module. That should be funny !

Tape delay 64 bits

Hi ! I'm a bit lost with modular tape delays... I remember that it crashed 64 bit pc but some working .sys files have been released. Called "Tapedelay64.sys" and "tapeDelayShort64.sys", modified on 06/06/2011, I guess I've got the right files. Certainly installed with the v7. But...

Excellent ! A very good trick !

So, from one hear to the other is around 15cm = 0.5ms ! Brilliant ! :)

Yes ! Really, I think it's crucial to know that ! Especially when planning to upgrade !

And the obviousness that daw's are the most real time sensitive computer applications became obvious to me only after watching it !

Re: modular rapture (some new modules)

The ramp indicators are very useful for monitoring modulation signals ! And choosing their flashy colors is perfect.

Aaah ! If they could be a little more large, it would be like paradise !

Re: Sounddiver

you should not be able to share midi i/o... each program should have its own midi i/o pair. But it worked like that for years ! 1998 -> 2018 ! Sounds like you had the 32bit XP subsystem installed in Win7 on that machine, and it survived the upgrade. Yes... Must be something like that. But I'm reall...

Re: Sounddiver

There is something else I don't understand. On XP or W7, I could use sounddiver and cubase at the same time and they both used the same midi I/O.
Now, for any hardware midi I/O, when cubase or any other program is using one of them, other programs don't see it. My arse !

Re: Sounddiver

Damn ! The issue is exactly that ! It doesn't see any midi I/O !

But that doesn't explain why I can run it on my older computer which is W10 64 bit with only the difference that it has been updated from W7. It's a pain in the arse !

Sounddiver

Hi. To day, I installed my old beloved Sounddiver on my new w10 64 bit computer. And it doesn't agree to work. On my older pc, same : w10, 64 bit and so on, no problem ! The older pc was first on w7, then has been updated. I tried all compatiblity w10 mess, run it as admin, as XP, W7, compatibility ...

Re: XITE-1 On Hexacore yet ?

They are both xeon gold 6136 with 12 cores / 24 threads each. Scope and Xite work flawlessly with the C621 chipset. I must precise that it's really not a good solution if you want to work with the shortest latency as possible ! With 3ms latency, I don't get better perf result than with my older comp...

Low, high, band pass 12db-->120db slope

As said in the subject. If you want to radically cut frequencies... Useful for dynamics sidechain signal. With a slope up to 120db ! :o :D

Re: Device wish !

Finally, I made a modular one, up to 120db ! :D Stereo.
I had to add 12db on each filter output to keep the audio signal at the same level. (Modular filters output are -12db)
