John would likely still sell you a license key. Go to his site at https://johnbowen.com and check the legacy area

Re: Finally released some music I made using SCOPE DSP
Given how metallic this sounds, have you tried the SSB plugins (SSB delay etc)?

Re: UVI Falcon
It's $349.00 USD for me here. I've seen it as low as $250 with other UVI items I own as an upgrade path, but would prefer to get it for less as I have enough synthesis options already. I have heard it's great as a sound designer's tool, so it has my interest.

Posting it largely because it's referenced and I know it's among the broken links. I have such a massive archive of things I'll never have the time to touch...

Re: Roland Zenology 2
mdl can be loaded into modular, dev can be loaded right into the Scope window (mdl can too, but dev is the more correct packing for devices in the routing window and/or the sidebar). In theory packed waveforms can be used in Vector, but it's been so long since I did that I can't recall if it was the...

Re: Roland Zenology 2
If you search the forums, you'll find old posts with broken links under "Jaded800". I made sure when that modular patch was made that the WAVS were extracted to a separate zipfile, and archived all related files. Here they are attached. Caution, if memory serves the sample pool has issues ...

Re: Roland Zenology 2
I have a version of the PCM samples created for Scope Mod somewhere. Also, have tons of presets in sounddiver, which is why I want the waveform cards. If I can load my sysex archive of presets I’ve made since owning it….

Re: Roland Zenology 2
This is why I want the expansion cards added to the software emulation. The boutique recreation cannot be used in stead of my original unit.

Re: NOAH Screen scrambled
Someone above mentioned 1.1 firmware enabled the full features for the editor, though I haven't scrolled back and am just recalling from following this thread so I may be off a bit. I don't own one of these units to confirm, but if the PSU swap is indeed giving you guys new life I'm happy that this ...

Re: NOAH Screen scrambled
I would guess it's a voltage sag (capacitor/PSU) or some trace (broken solder) that isn't used until that point, hence my response. Sagging power or cap is the most likely...

Check the capacitors and other components, look for signs of bad solder connections or swollen caps.

Re: Definitive Scope PCI card host PC?
It shouldn't have issues from the PCIe to PCI bridge, if you do have any dropouts it will be onboard devices or drivers that cause latency spikes (DPC Latency). Still, that's unusual in this era.

Re: Win 10 Pro update KB5034441 (Windows RE update) fails with ERROR 0x80070643
Deleting the recovery partitions doesn't impact your Windows partition, but since they're at the start of the drive I would gather they also are used as the boot volume. That plus I don't know how the EXPAND and SHRINK commands in Diskpart react to space BEFORE the volume (rather than after) is why ...
