Re: Connecting hardware gear
my most stable 'everything linked' setup is: Elektron MD as master clock, going into an 8x8 midi box (Alyseum AL-88C). All hardware boxes go in and out of that box as well, the midi box goes to a router thingie that also connects to 1) a MacbookPro that runs ableton Live through an RME Fireface800/A...

Re: What is your "go-to" midi controller ?
the new BCR32 looks great: https://www.musicradar.com/news/behringers-bcr-2000-midi-controller-is-coming-back-as-the-bcr32-and-this-time-its-a-sequencer-too I have two old BCRs for scope, but mainly use Push 1 or Akai MPD232 with Ableton. Got quite some over the years (faderfox, PadKontrol (best dru...

Re: Most Famous Audio Engineer In History
And here I am thinking this would be about Rudy Van Gelder, Bob Katz, or whoever... The world as it is today might be delighted with the on-stage antics of DJ Trump as a wingman for the next four years, the masses need some distraction. The real question is: Can the USA survive another four years of...

Re: Creamware Osiris subharmonic
should you not find a scope alternative, PluginAlliance have a device, the bx_SubSynth, that is based on that 120XP. there's also a free version, the bx_Subfilter.

Re: ADA8200
or, you can make your own cables and use your ac coupled interface, haven't read enough to know wether or not the expert sleepers plugin is really necessary.

Re: ADA8200
the Behringer ADDA doesn't do CV. you'd be better off looking at Expert sleepers modules or Motu.
also SpaceF has been doing lots of new stuff with his own take on 'CV' which is not really CV but something alike.

Re: DIY LFO Tool with Modular III/BC Modular - possible?
this is something I used to do a whooooole lot of time ago, and can't test right now... I remember connecting the output of 'modifiers' to a val monitor module (might need flexor for this) assign the readout bar of the val monitor to a cc (left click), and connect the midi out of the patch to your d...

word clock chain properly terminated? If not, this could lead to erratic behavior. Some units have built in termination, some don't.

Spielraum,
I have an idea what you're talking about, but don't understand any of it! However, keep up the good work! It is appreciated!

Re: Behringer Motor 61 cheap?
had this on my list as well, about a year ago. The bad reports were just too much. Got an M-audio Code49 instead, cheap as well, but quite happy with that (apart from moronically laid out knobs, so close to each other!). Needed to replace my Studiologic 88 keys in a hurry. That thing was the worst p...

Re: small update v7
So, euh, we agree, and it's no coincidence we're still here after almost 20 years.
I just want to have a little peek inside Holger's head. Is he just sustaining the system as is, is he on the verge of a breakthrough and new era for Scope, is he working hard or just waiting for the phone to ring?

Re: small update v7
Valis, you're about the last regular Z'er, together with Petal, I can truly relate to, being it music or how to live a life, so I'm not looking for a fight... Where did I complain? My "that's fine" was not ironic. No, it's all fine. I don't desire or expect Scope to become Max/MSP, or team...

I jumped up when I saw this thread and it's first sentence. Then I saw the date... Great your supporting SlC for the sake of it (really is!), I did such a thing at least three times (2x JB synth bundles I don't use (both for Xite and PCI), and v7 which I still have not installed as I'm still on XP)....
