Re: 10 CHANNEL MIDI BOX ?
this one has 8 outs and Copperlan http://www.alyseum.com/al-88c.html#.UvV5XdJdWSp I have started looking for a replacement for my Unitor8 and AMT8. Anyone bought one of these yet? The price is attractive but the config is.....well cumbersome. Perhaps maybe a DIY rackmount conversion kit? . The AL-8...

ProWave Patch
Hi, I have a patch i'm working on that keeps crashing whenever I try to move the modules around, so i was wondering if someone could load this up and let me know how it works. I need to know if it's the patch or my system. I suspect it might be those Tape Delay modules. You will need JB's ProWave (m...

Re: Which polysynth for a demo?
I'd go with the Prodyssey myself. The Zarg synths are great and highly flexible and tweakable but they haven't been optimised for the Xite-1. Some of the presets will give you optimization popups at even one voice. The Prodyssey can get 12+ voices easily and has a great powerful sound and if you rea...

Re: Scope Midi Source fault
How about one of these: http://www.alyseum.com/al-88c.html#.UvTxQUJ_sjF MIDI 8x8 to Copperlan (via Ethernet) That looks amazing, especially when you compare the price to its bigger brother the AL-88 (€165 vs €412). Obviously I'd love to have a rack mount, but for €247 I can probably survive! Is any...

Re: >2 monitors
well to tell you the truth I have tried both. I will have to go back and try it again now that I know it's possible. I suspect it is a limitation of the graphics card though. I did load a driver for the new 27" monitor but it didn't seem to matter. I will try it tonight again. Which OS is that ...

Re: >2 monitors
hmmm, ok and that is on one video card? I just bought a 27" monitor and have a 24" and can't seem to adjust the resolution separate. Probably time to upgrade my video card then. I might have to check on that Quadro.
Thanks
Thanks

does anyone know if you can set a different resolution on each of your two monitors, or do you have to have a separate video card for each?

Re: Scope SDK class 1
John; Just few questions about the class
-When are the classes starting and what time zone are you in? (Zulu/GMT please)
-I will need to see if the class is even an option with my sked and yours and time zone differences.
Hopefully
Dan

Re: Mttomat recsteps
I was experimenting with this the other day. It seemed to erase and start recording anew after every cycle. Maybe selecting one of the hold buttons would fix that? To me the only way to really use this feature is to sync it to an external beat or metronone. I think it's something I will def use but ...

Re: Electronic music pioneers
Joel Chadabe (I took one of his classes in the 80's but it was way over my head and I was way too immature....too bad I can't go back in time) Joel Chadabe, composer, author, is an internationally recognized pioneer in the development of interactive music systems. He has concertized widely since 19...

Hi Dan I first played Keyboard on a dx7II, this was very good for me, after selling it, I had a crap of plastic shit Keyboards. After years I bought a real Grand piano, since this Moment my life changed, the Action is more human adapted I think, I never played better than with anything else. But af...

We were eating Bison Steaks one night and I swore the waitress asked if I wanted Ass Water....? LMAO! yup it takes some getting used to the lingo here. I've been in East TN since 2007. Great place, good folk. Welcome home! Vegas is a conundrum. Just spent last night there, it just keeps growing and...

Re: 'Big modules do not fit' Xite-1D when opening project
If i had to guess i'd say it was the Echo35 that was eating up your resources. Good delay though. That's one of the reasons why i run a dual Xite/PCI setup. Use the PCI side as an external effects send/return. Have you ever tried Wolf's Tape Delay? Great sounding, but man that thing used about 20DSP...
