Re: whats up with the eq's?

I agree about the stock compressor, it does not sound good to me either. I'm sure there are a few others as well that are not good but in general i do find most of the stock to be good. Atleast to my taste.

Re: whats up with the eq's?

The Peq4 really does sound nice and competes well against alot of commercial eq's to my ears. To my taste there are better eq's out here then the SCOPE stock but they still hold there own against many commercial ones and are quite usable. Not just eq's but many of the SCOPE stock plugins are good. A...

Re: Gigastudio discountinued

I see Gigapulse is listed as legacy product as well. I just sold my copy of that a couple months ago and feel like i'm playing musical-chairs with music gear out here, got to get rid of stuff before the music stops and it becomes worthless.

Re: FleXor future

i respectfully suggest the principle participants involved figure this out and get over it. i'm not placing any blame on any side at this point. i don't think EITHER party is free of blame if this can't be settled. a native version that could truly compete with a dsp version will certainly require ...

Re: XITE and 3rd party software

Well it seems apparent to me that I must use the new version of Flexor as a VST. (...) I know Assaf is a proud developer and admire his new direction. The fact that our License's still have worth is very considerate. (...)in VST / AU it should be resource dependant. Yeah, but forget the overall sou...

Re: Pro Flexor for Scope 5 - PETITION

I do believe "the whole is greater then the sum of it's parts". Sonic Core, Adern and the many third-party and SDK developers i think will generate more interest together then apart in the long run. I think XITE-1 is worth a lot of money, and believe that it is the best starting point for ...

Re: Pro Flexor for Scope 5 - PETITION

As i stated on the Flexor Forum, i really hope Sonic Core and Adern work things out. Modular 3 and Flexor no doubt is a large part of the HEART of the SCOPE Platform and is one of the MAIN attractions for many of us. Flexors absence would leave a big voide in XITE-1 and may take much away from the u...

Re: VDAT Dilemma

Try SAWstudio, it is integer and sounds great to me. One of the best i've heard. There is a Basic version for only $300, the Lite and Full versions are costly. I've been demoing it and it seems geared twards fast workflow and stability aswell and has a great looking gui. Check out the video's on the...

This indeed looks nice! I will demo both soon, if i decide to buy one i hope the Summer sale price lasts awhile after XITE-1's release.

The Avatars really do blend well with the Forums look, and is a improvement from good to really good. More livelier, impactfull, and exciting look, or should i say XITEING.

Re: soniccore site down!!!

There seems to be quite a few little changes made to the website. I don't remember seeing that many audioclips they have now. Under the sub-category Synths&Samplers pack there seems to be more audioclips. And the XITE-1 description seems to be increased, now theres a system requirements list and...

... Hopefully they'll use something like Burr Brown INA217s or THAT 1512 chips for the preamps. Stratt Good guess - the XITE preamps actually have SSM 2019 input amplifiers. Nice, I think SPL use SSM2019s in their stuff. It means for those who aren't technical that the Xite-1 preamps should have a ...

What do you mean by "all in one"? It doesn't do midi and audio sequencing well and the samplers are very weak. . I think you know what he meant by all in one, sure its not totally complete (i don't think anything out there is) but very much more complete then most dsp platforms. It's far ...

I'm sure Xite's DSP power will be eaten up before long. Hopefully at some point more then one XITE-1 will be allowed to be chained together and simulteaneously used. 2 XITE-1's together no doubt is big difference over 3 scope pro's and should have good lasting power. I'm sure the more power w...

The 14dsp is good starting point, but if your looking to get deep with SCOPE then XITE-1 as stated above . Also several cards can be chained together for added power. I would try to start with nothing less then 6dsp and seriously consider 14 or XITE.. All plugins that run on the cards i believe will...

1. Sell a organ, blood, limb, or other body part you feel you don't use much.
2. Go to a music-store and pretend you work for SonicCore and tell them you need to do a recall on all XITE-1's cause there defected :D .
