Re: >2 monitors
I run 3 19" monitors (4/3) on an old matrox parhelia card. Thought about switching to two 27" but I won't gain that much effective surface, and I find that three screens is more comfortable (I run duals at work). I have them mounted on an Ergotron arm which allows moving them in a block an...

Re: No Brainworx or SPL
Transient Designer I'm not sure theres any other equivalent on Scope, since it can shape transients independant of thier loudness - eg a snare hit will be made shorter / longer by the same amount for a soft hit as it would for a loud hit. DAS-TR1D :D http://www.digitalaudiosoft.com/demo/DASTR1D.jpg

Re: Reaper 3.74/64 and ASIO Scope (v5.1 - PCI)
Did you install the ReaRoute ASIO driver?
I did that once by mistake, and it trashed my SFP setup. I had the same issues with Scope ASIO as you describe.
Only way I managed to get rid of them was by reinstalling win xp from scratch

Re: PHASE
it's funny there is no boost of the bass spectrum ? Is the sound seen on spectrum doubled with the original ? i suppose so otherwise it can't phase, but if I add 1 feedback module in scope to create a 1 sample delay and mix this channel with the original, then i also have very hearable bass boost, ...

SFP 4.0 is not compatible with Win Vista nor Win 7.
You need SFP 5.0 for it to work with these OS.

now no possible Yes, it's possible. The link points to the 64 bit version for the old cards too. Honestly, there is no advantage in 32 bit over 64 bit, other than sounding "cool" in front of your friends :P Sì, è possibile. I punti di collegamento alla versione a 64 bit anche per le vecch...

Re: Scope Environment - Is it possible without a breakout box?
You seem to provide a lot of answers in this place so I guess it's up to us "forumers" to keep up the questions :) I pictured scope mode as having cubase inside it literally but I guess thinking about it now that was rather a bit naive. Anyway now I am wondering if Scope is more like a sy...

Re: MIC/DI Connection
The Kawai MR370 is an electric piano, ofcours it's got it's own line that you can plug directly to any monitor , whether amplified or not. Look I've been using this instrument for years and I know how to connect it. Connecting it to the MIC/DI does not sound at all , unless you switch phantom and h...

Re: MIC/DI Connection
I couldn't be more clearer than this, perhaps my english is not that good Now , I've plugged my Kawai MR370 , obviously made the necessary steps as I would with the Avalon but in this case with the xite-1 preamp. So I've raised the volume of my Kawai, loaded the MIC/ DI source in the project window...

With all due respect! Please , no lessons on how to use preamps. I have an Avalon M5 , you know ? Pure class A preamp. So, I pretty well know how to handle them :D With all due respect, if you don't give much details about the steps you are doing, we can only guess in order to help :) BTW, the fact...

Re: What are the "Must Have"s for a Scope pro ?
i usually use the DAS fairchild, which is a throw-in with their compressor bundle, and it easily does as good a job as my vintage dbx 160(the version with the big analog vus). in fact, the software compressor is WAY more transparent. i have a number of high quality hardware compressors and i haven'...

Hi xiters! I suppose that you've got to plug your instrument in, cause that's where the sound would be comingo from > load the MIC DI Source module, > get " signal " lighted > Phantom on if necessary, in this case, yes , But nothing happens, at least you should see signal light on when yo...
