Re: pci sxpansion
Those tests are pretty bad compared to my current setup, however that could just be a laptop or PCIe bottle neck. I'm pretty sure the ADK 9000 would perform better. It is pretty much a laptop with desktop performance, tweaked for DAW performance. I would be very interested if you could test the Time...

Re: pci sxpansion
Whoa, this is very exciting. I've been theorizing a Scope + console system recently, possibly a Allan Heath ZED R-16 (or rather the GS-R24 :S), interconnecting the console via ADAT and a A16U (24 I/O). Possibly also snoozing at a ADK Pro Audio 9000 laptop. But whatever new computer upgrade the PCI l...

Re: Asio4all in Scope?
The Wave drivers are broken. 24-bit source actually truncates to 16-bit. BTW

Re: VDAT x64 working ok
Well, there has always been reports of this mythological quality to VDAT. No one has every done any tests. VDAT is a linear multi-track recorder, similar to the Alesis ADAT. I know the new ADATs have "2-track" project options, but not VDAT. It is a quite dated device. As I said. The only s...

Re: VDAT x64 working ok
No, only mono tracks. The community has been asking for a stereo mixdown device for years.
You could use one of the samplers, however they record directly to memory I believe.

Ok. I just saw your "for 32bit DAW" further back. No exp. with 64 bit.

Re: SPECTRAL BALANCE CONTROL
I seem to remember the two lower bands having some stereo effect on the low-end, but I don't remember reproducing this in the present.
It's definintely not a transparent processor. As a mastering processor it really gives you that processed sound. Nice to clean up the mix. before limiting.

Surely, it is not very new at all.
I have used it at times.
Why don't you tell us how you use it?

Re: Scope 4.0 Wave driver + Wave Source module questions
Yup, Having REAPER output through 24bit Wave Source results in truncation Got an email by S|C now which confirms it. "Dear Vidar XXXXXXXX, htanks, it seems you are right, bette use ASIO for 24 bit. We will work on that in coming versions." Yes, it seems recording in 24bit is possible. I ca...

Re: Scope 4.0 Wave driver + Wave Source module questions
If true then this sounds like a bug you should report to Sonic Core. There is suppose to be both 16bit and 24bit Wave/Asio options (32bit Asio also). The 24 bit Wave module is suppose to be as its name says, and is listed in the manual as 24bit resolution. If truncation is occuring with the 24bit W...

Re: Scope 4.0 Wave driver + Wave Source module questions
From my tests, both wave modules truncate to 16-bit which pretty much reflects what the driver window says.

Re: Scope in xtc mode + Protools LE 7.3 WORKS !!!!
Why? Because it doesn't work. It seems impossible to have one XTC stream happen before another. And I think I know why In REAPER I can load a lot of XTC stuff as aux'es. Enabling "anticipative FX" it even runs really smooth. However if I send one of these into one of the other all hell bre...

Re: Scope in xtc mode + Protools LE 7.3 WORKS !!!!
I just remembered: It is possible to load multiple XTC instances without stuttering in a parallel (!) fashion, like with busses. Just like you would with synths. This means you will be able to load a couple of reverb sends, which is good news as while there are some great EQ and compressors in the V...

Re: Loading Modular patches in XTC
Tried this yesterday. Very cool! One thing though, if you want to process audio, the plugin passes a dry signal aswell, and there is nothing you can do about it. Might be a workaround with REAPER if you output the audio through outs 3-4. Are the patches recalled up on project reload? mpodrug: In you...

Had the same problem and got the same reply. I noticed this when I had HT enabled. Whenever I disabled it, the system would just freeze. Could you confirm this? Anyway, I was under the impression that people got this working some time? Unless they fix this in the future they only viable solution in ...

I think this happens if you save your project after the "ScopeDrv:" error associated with multi-core or HT.

Re: my 2nd attempt with xtc
I use an Apogee Mini Me with REAPER in XTC-mode.
While it works mostly fine most of the time, it does fall out of sync after a while (hours). Then I would need to restart the restart the host/driver. So this might actually be a driver bug.

If there is no GUI then you have to check your installation. There are probably some path and name anomalies.
