Re: Audio/MIDI Interface with Mixer

I agree... Scope just gives you all you want in one package. The only thing that comes to my mind if you're after the "right click and go" thing is to take a reliable and FAST!!!! soundcard (RME Raydat since you have got an A16Ultra) and use a really simple Ableton Live Setup. No fancy Cli...

Re: Audio/MIDI Interface with Mixer

Every RME card or interface is controlled by the TotalMix software. TotalMix can be controlled by MackieControl or OSC. The big USB/Thunderbolt Interfaces can be controlled directly (standalone), no Computer needed. Some of them even via iPad https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/totalmix-fx-for-ipad/id73...

Re: Level matching query

Maybe I got you wrong... I just thought you might get that A16Ultra with ADAT and ZLink for 350€ (not the PCI card) and sell the Luna Box (not the card). imho you would not have to add analog gain. Just adjust the A16 Ultra using the dip-switches at the back next to output 16. I'm doing it like that...

Re: Micro ATX PCI expander

Try to get a refurbished/used HP workstation in a rackable case and use your scopecards as a standalone FX/Synth-unit. I am using a xw6200 with winxp 32bit (about 160€) with a 14 and a 6 DSP card. Each card has its own IRQ. No VSTis, no sequencer, no ASIO-hassle... Just processing ADAT ins. Works pe...

New Motherboard with PCI for AMD FX6350

Hello guys, a friend of mine is searching for a new Motherboard with at least 1 PCI-Slot (for a RME HDSP), but better would be 2 because I've got a Pulsar2 left. His CPU is an AMD FX6350 6 core 3,9GHz. 4 RAM Slots and 6 SATAs and onboard GRFX would be cool. Since I'm on MAC and use an old HP XW6200 ...

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

@Bud: I think we pretty much agree on nearly everything ;-) This MPA is nothing a "normal" Scope-user needs. That's what I wanted to say by asking if this integration would sell more XITEs. I would like to see a bugfree v7 and I'm crossing my fingers this will happen. The only thing that i...

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

I think this MPA thing is something like a low-level network driver that can be run on many platforms to distribute data (audio/video/data/midi/osc/whatever). On top: modular built hardware (a little DSP-card that can easily be conected to a raspberry pi for example and can be controlled via a brows...

Fender Rhodes MK2

Hello! I have the chance to buy a Fender Rhodes MK2 in good condition. It's the plastic key version. Since I'm not very familiar with those instruments, is there anything I should check before buying it? Any common 'weak' points? I would be thankful for any hint!! What are common prices? Cheers ;-) ...
