Re: MultiTrackStudio - DAW supports MIDI 2 and MPE

Linnstrument is amazing, powerful, and worth every penny. My playing skills on it, alas, are not at all amazing (yet) Also, Roger Linn is a very nice gentleman, I still can't quite believe I had an email exchange with him.

Re: wow, check out this midi timing!

Midi timing... I miss my Atari 1040 STe and Alesis MMT-8. OTOH, integrating CV control with Expert Sleepers hardware and Mehdi's (SpaceF) devices I am attaining very precise timing that makes my inner Swiss precision obsessive very happy. I could go on at length, and often do, but I'll just leave it...

Re: Sequential add mpe to Prophet-6 and OB-6

I've got a Linnstrument, this is very tempting. Then again, I've got enough hardware. Maybe some Scope synthesizers could be updated? Holger? John? Hrastwerk?

Re: External (non-Scope) tools of our trade

Oeksound Soothe has become indispensable to me. It's a dynamic resonance suppressor with an amazingly easy user interface. It allows me to use a lighter touch on EQ corrections and can also be a highly "surgical" problem solver. In a world full of VSTs, mostly EQ and compression, it's real...

Purchased. Looks like a ridiculously inexpensive bargain, are you charging enough for your time?
Can't wait for my key.
Everybody, support Mehdi (and other developers) with your purchases so that we can continue getting tools like this that don't exist anywhere else outside of Scope.

Re: VDAT and Alesis BRC - Success

I once ran a session with 8 physical adats synced with a BRC, quite a mechanical commotion and a bit of a wait as they all synced up. Wish I had recorded the mechanical noises, it sounded cool. Bookmarking this topic, I've got a sync card and a line on a good condition BRC with original sync cables,...

Mehdi, I just bought a bigger eurorack case to accomodate my growing physical module collection. Thank you, Kr0n is amazing. Also FYI: modulating a Tiptop Z-dsp with your stuff is incredible.

Re: How many of you use several scope PS at the same time?

I have a second computer so I can use Zarg and other things that don't play with 64 bit OS. It's idle right now because its motherboard has a problem, holding out for Scope 7.1 in hope that the fixes let me do it all in one machine again. I'd rather spend with SonicCore than put more money into my o...

Re: What is your "go-to" midi controller ?

Linnstrument, so good. Being able to change the note layout is amazingly powerful. Also, Roger Linn is a super nice and gracious person. For knobs, two DJ Tech Tools Midi Fighter Twisters are more than I need, and I need a lot of knobs. Programmable led colors is a huge plus in organization and usab...

Re: First sound card.

Atari 1040ste, not a sound card per se, but did have built in 16 bit? Audio that was quite gritty. I had prior experience with an alphaSyntauri on an Apple II, which was also gritty and aggressive in nature, but I only had it on loan for a while. I made a lot of nasty noises with Turbosynth on the A...

Re: KrOn - CV/DSP modulator

That's an impressive argument for Scope, and Scope modular in general. I would think that the current trend toward modular would bring more people to Scope, but it may be rare and difficult for total newcomers to find out about it. I dabble a little in physical modular, and the few people I've run a...

Re: Just went crazy and bough scope 7 and the sdk

Valis, it's a mess, but it's everything I've managed to scrape together about/for SDK so it would be a good idea.
Along those lines, I should have a pretty comprehensive and organized collection of free plugins ready in a few weeks, I'll let you know when it's ready.

Re: Just went crazy and bough scope 7 and the sdk

Good for you. SDK is very challenging, I've found it useful primarily for saving devices with midi assignments. It's also hard to find information and resources. Here's an ~1GB folder of SDK stuff that is not very well organized but should be helpful. The unlocked versions of the DerKnott devices ar...

Re: 10 bit midi in scope?

Nothing in Scope or Modular that I am aware of. Spielraum would be the developer I would talk to to make such a thing.
There is a good general tool outside of Scope. Mapping parameters is no fun, but you should only have to do it once.

Re: Weird device surfaces

Reorganizing my files clutter, I found this little gem from the distant past.
I don't think it ever became an available product. What was it supposed to do? Only Simon knows.
I like to imagine some kind of crackly lo-fi Shepard/Risset vortex effect.

BBDelay Pitch Shift by Roy? You can find that here http://www.cwmodular.org/

DAS site is long gone, but Griesverb is still available within the DAS Reverb Bundle you can purchase through SonicCore.
