Re: Forum Update

Each manual change of the template, or other forum components for that matter, requires repeating that change everytime that associated bit of code is changed. Ok, that sucks. Maybe just submit a feature request to the theme developer then. Another thing I noticed is, that I'm getting email notific...

Re: Forum Update

Can't you just use that link from the Quick link menu? I've bookmarked that link and it seems to work fine.

Re: Scope 7 Bug List

SB404 OK, after more extensive use of SB404 I think the errors lie in the Delay effect section. Whenever I try to build a preset with delay or call up an old preset with delay a get the following two errors I've added a bug report for this one as well. Everyone can do it by the way... ;) See here f...

Re: Some SDK docs to share

Thanks for writing these tips down, Ray! I'd like to add these best practices (to meet user expectations and maintain an overall high quality): - Make sure that the device works properly with screen sets - Make sure the device works properly with any sample rate - Make the device controllable via MI...

Re: Forum Update

I wonder if it's possible to make the current message in the private message area look differently from the rest.
Now it looks all the same so it's a little bit confusing IMO.

Re: Scope 7 Bug List

Glad you brought this up. I have found this to be true as well. Save the preset file BEFORE closing the device and if it asks you if you want to save while exiting, select NO. I just went through a circus with the dNa effects rack because I forgot and selected yes, then the device kept crashing the...

astroman wrote: Wed Dec 13, 2017 1:21 pm the file is named allkeys.skf and resides in the directory 'Your Scope folder'/App/Bin
it's a regular textfile, so you could even store it (printed) on a sheet of paper ;)
Do you still have "allkeys.skf"? Since version 5 it's actually "keyfile.v5".

Re: Exporting key file.

You can use "Save Recovery Files" in the Settings window for that (it's on the Global tab).

There's also the SDK Wiki with some information like the "First time use" tutorial by Shayne White and the manual from the old DP system.

Re: Scope 7

Yes I realize that, I just didn't get any feedback from the site indicating that the transaction went through. Typically when you buy online there is something that confirms the transaction. Take your time.. I am building a new system with a motherboard that I bought on this site. No rush. I always...

If any, we could name it "Planet S" with a reversed Z in the logo... :P
No really need for a change, though. This would only confuse us "old" people here

Oh, another great surprise! Thanks valis! Love it! And a big thank you for keeping our familiar colors! :) I noticed that the small grey left arrow before the "Return to" links is a little bit hard to see. I'd also like to have the user area of the posts on the left side again. I really do...

Re: Scope 7.X Wishlist

I think I don't need many new stuff, either. Some little things would be nice to have, though: - A quick device search feature similar to the Windows search box or Spotlight on macOS: Hitting space or something opens a window where you can (fuzzy) search for a device. Then hit enter to load that dev...

Re: Scope 7 Bug List

Same test using the midi folder properly(?) results in exception fault. Maybe the .pre file is corrupt? The device file? Don't know. https://youtu.be/asb-AnFoc5E I was able to reproduce the behavior shown in your video on my SCOPE 5.1 PCI system. And I was also able to make it work properly, so may...

Re: Scope 7

I was unable to get V7 to work on my system. It seemingly installed ok, but was not sync'ing correctly with my A16 Ultra. I run my A16 in master mode (Scope as Slave) - using a BNC wordclock cable to synchronize the A16 and XITE-1/Scope. This setup works fine with V5.1 V7 doesn't recognize the corr...

Being able to ask questions would be very helpful I guess.
So, as long as the audio quality with Teamviewer is good, I think I'd prefer that option.

In your case now - I'd unistall both and then reinstall 7.
I didn't uninstall 5.1.
I just renamed the 5.1 folder and installed 7 into a new folder.
Seems to work fine so far.
