it was definatley not you there was some problem with the flexor esync. i don't know exactly what went wrong, but when i deleted the esync modules the synth worked.

i didn't have time to make presets, but have a look its one of the cooler patches in there

A lot of the soundscapes in the original were recorded through scope effects like masterverb, vinco and through modular/flexor filters.

almost any source synth will do... slow slow lfo like mentioned above on various params... then i like chains of fx like a massive reverb --> two or three serial pitchshifter, vinco, more reverb etc .....

maybe not so efficient for lives, but for recording purposes it works great.
