Re: Scope 6 does not exist
Dante, I found that reference too, but I recall that there are additional DRAM chips on the XITE board, although I can't find any reference to it on SonicCore now. The only pix I can find show the topside of the mainboard inside the XITE, but no DRAM chips, just the Sharcs, are visible. I haven't fo...

Re: Scope 6 does not exist
My bad! Although I didn't actually find any images on Scope Rising that show the memory chips, you guys know hardware. Which article is it in? I have some images from way back, but the memory chips must be on the opposite side of the board from the sharcs, they don't show in the pics that I have. Ch...

Re: Scope 6 does not exist
Bud,
I don't have a spec in front of me to verify this, but I'm pretty sure that each chip has 32MBits, rather than 32MBytes. 4MBytes is the equivalent to 32MBits. Still a large chunk for coding purposes, and it is a shame if they are not being put to use.

Re: XITE 1 with Windows 10
Hey Garyb
Is disabling driver-signing no longer necessary for Win8 64-bit (and above)? I've had it off for ages AFAIK, my desktop still says that I'm in Test Mode.
thanks,
Cory

Re: Getting driver install returned -2
Scope does not work in PCIe, was that a typo (I don't think you can place a PCI card in a PCIe slot)? PCI only, and as pointed out, you need to have the specific PCI (not XITE) install package. It may also indicate a problem with the card itself, or even the mainboard. Have you tried to re-seat the ...

Re: DAS Bundle
Rolf,
Check this link, I've pushed it through the system to the final confirmation, and the total for all of the devices described is 41Euro:

EDIT: link is broken, but it's working in the 4th post of this thread. c-p

Re: DAS Bundle
I'm considering putting the order through, but I don't want to get stuck with something I don't need, esp. with the 20Euro "handling fee." I just don't know what I'm actually ordering!

Thanks NTN, I'm sure I'm confused because it's too good to be true, but look at this link and see if you understand it differently:

DAS Bundle
I must be confused, but it appears that the entire DAS Bundle is ony 21 euros. It's in my cart and I'm ready to confirm, but that's got to be for only one plug-in, not everything listed under the bundle, right? This is what I see in the description: 70% Discount on all DAS Plug-Ins Revolution Day Of...

Try importing your keyfile.v5, when the request comes up. I'm not running into any key requests, yet anyway. Still trying to figure out how it all works.

Re: SDK info on Forum/collected tutorials (Very Rough Releas
jks*, You may have found these already, but scroll up to Warp69's post on 5/15/2011. There are some old Scope DP manuals, and a *.rar of examples. According to Warp's post, it's just a small selection of mdls and devs from what was available on the original distribution. The DP was the developer's p...

Re: is VDAT working on v5.1 ?
babaorum, The effect of assigning the VDAT to dsp2 is to move it to one of the old-style sharcs. On PCI cards, it's already running on them so no need to re-assign. Did you try 'Run as administrator...'? Do you get errors when you load VDAT? If so, delete and try again until there are no errors. bos...

Re: is VDAT working on v5.1 ?
Awesome, glad it's working! When I tried again last night, I had to re-load VDAT 3 times before I got it to load without errors. I edited the post above to reflect this. I was able to sync to Reaper 64-bit last night using APP, so we can add that to the list. Mausmuso, Have you tried running Cubase ...

Re: is VDAT working on v5.1 ?
I had some troubles with Xite-1 and Win7-64. Mostly I couldn't load or create a new tape, but also couldn't sync to VRC-S. Here's what worked for me: 1) Don't use auto-start at boot-up. In the past, this caused problems with both VDAT and STS samplers. If you do use it, close Scope and start it agai...

Re: XITE-1 ASIO pops and dropouts in Win 7 64bit via Express
Hey T-tangent, I have seen this on my laptop as well, and changing ULLI didn't have much impact. I only had mixed results, usually temporary, with the Priority settings, but didn't work with the Affinity. I am using Reaper in this case. One thing I learned is that 99% of the noise was on playback on...

Ralf, We'll miss your body! You have been immensely helpful over the years, and SonicCore owes a lot to you because you carried Creamware through their toughest times with patience and great service. Without you I don't think this community would have survived long enough for SC to revive us. Best o...

Re: VDrums>Midi>Sonar...routing :o
ofir, I think the TD8 is only compatible with the FD7, at least that's all that is mentioned in the manual. You may need to verify on Roland's site, or netguyjoel may know. Joel, Jeez, I just wish I had a TD9 instead of a TD6, and a VH-11. Of course, I'm strictly a wannabe drummer in a bass player's...
