Thank you very much so far.
I understand, what strategies/ideas you use.
I'll do some drum-only exercises to get more feeling, how to set things up.
I'm just using drum samples/synths, not a real one. ( Just my singer is real, sometimes.)

Re: mandatory inserts ?
I understand, that there's no "one fits all" solution. Reaching the level of professional producers will stay a dream for me, but nevertheless I want to improve. On some DAW I find some effects, that are named "drum_something", which sound quite nice. I also looked into some proj...

mandatory inserts ?
Although I'm in scope for a long time, I'm still struggling with the sound of drums. I prefer to do most effects online in scope, as I don't like to do finalisation in a DAW. So I'd like to ask: Do you feed each drum/hihat through a parallel chain of inserts or do you let them run combined ? What in...

Re: Scope 7 - STS?
My view is similar to Bud Weiser's, but for different reasons. I changed my DAW several time, due to problems. This always causes a reset on all achievements within a DAW. ( Cubase 9 stopped working on Win10, SamX doesn't follow Midiclock, ableton is quite perfect on keeping sync, but it has a stran...

Re: Scope 5.1 (Pulsar II) and Windows 11
Usually most older software can be run in compatibility mode but as I mentioned I'm not talking about the Scope software. I can accept that Scope v5.1 won't run smoothly as the jump from Windows 7 to 10 or 11 is a big step. Going from Windows 10 to 11 is hardly a step at all. So, I have no issue wi...

Re: New S|C website and SCOPE XITE-1 pricing
Does the website still serve as a backup for keys bought from SC ?
( I'm a backup paranoid myself, but I learned that SC also remembers keys )

Re: Scope 5.1 (Pulsar II) and Windows 11
Microsoft brakes backward compatibility especially with the windows number going up. It is not just about drivers, but about libraries and programming models. Sometimes, M$ includes some emulations mode, so people think the new windows is the same, but over time various reasons like security issues ...

Re: 1 core at 100% on Xite but not on PCI
It's time to give an update:
The load seems to be causes by MidiMonitors in the project. I had 5 of them to debug my keysplitter-settings.
Each Midi-Monitor seemed to cost 5% cpu.

What about checking the limit by other means like Masterverbs ?
I hardly can imagine, that there is a real bottleneck here.

I don't own a SRB. It is taken from a 14DSP card, which should be the same.
Why are you asking for it ?

What about offering your SDK-projects for download at a reasonable fee, so others can learn or continue your devices ?

Re: 1 core at 100% on Xite but not on PCI
I'll have to dig more into this. Sometimes, after playing with scope for hours, I noticed the CPUload to be 25% on a 4 core machine. I never noticed this on pci before. I just tried Xite and the CPUload was below 5% on a pretty loaded project. Even using MidiOX and samplitude on the same machine did...

1 core at 100% on Xite but not on PCI
Since I own Xite, one core is busy at 100%.
On PCI-cards, the CPU stays at 1%.
Is this normal on Xite or just a bad configuration of my PCIe-card ?

Re: Samplitude slow with 32 Float Record Mode
I installed Win10, Win7-64 and Win7-32 for my tests with SAM. I changed the Midi-interface. I did this with the hope, that after the stupid "standard measures", a real developer will contact me. It never happened.
I stay tuned to get your experiences and maybe a solution in your case.

Re: Samplitude slow with 32 Float Record Mode
Deleting the .ini file was the most common answer I received for my tickets. In my case it never helped. If the .ini file is ASCII, you could run a diff. As it also happens on an other interface, this might be a sampltude problem. In my case, Sam showed strange behaviour after some stress on midi in...

Re: Samplitude slow with 32 Float Record Mode
I own SamX3 and tried SamX4. It worked not well with scope. I never managed to get SamX3 to follow a midi clock while stretching audio. On midi overload, SamX3 crashed. I wrote several tickets and wrote text into their crash reports, but it wasn't fixed. The next version came out, so I was offered t...

Re: Calling all Ableton Live Users
The project shown is not my daily work setup, just stripped down. My real setup is a complicated mess of 3 PCs, with a self written sequencer. The Xite Midi flow is shown in the attached picture. For educational purposes the project should be a simple, clean starting point. I could change things if ...
