Re: V7 is different how?

Also the miniscope graphics load up.

Mouse pointer doesn’t switch to an hour glass anymore which used to spin me out.

It’s all just smoother really.

Re: V7 is different how?

I had the rare crash in the past. Not spent a huge amount of time with it. But for example, Solaris used to very often hit dsp limits while browsing through presets even when set to 1 voice. When I went to the studio the other evening I was browsing through almost every preset I had with no issues. ...

Exporting key file.

Maybe I’m being a dumb ass.
I only go to my studio about twice a week at the moment so can’t have a look now.

But can you export a key file of all the registered plug ins etc?

Re: V7 is different how?

I have Xite-1.

Since v7 all seems to just run smoother.

There’s new plug ins.
Updated and fixed plug ins (sb404 works perfectly).
A new colour scheme that I find a little easier on the eyes.

Properly supports up to windows 10 os.

It seems to me a re build of the scope software for Xite.

Re: John Bowen / Zarg Music With V7 64bit

I’m on Xite win xp 32bit. Solaris works ok for me . ... Very few patches can not go above 1 voice. IMO, for a polyphonic device of that caliber, every patch should go far above 1 voice. Ideally at least 10 voices like hardware Solaris ... Maybe some 3rd row "features" can be sacrificed to get that ...

I wish I could buy you one, and another for me!

I don't think Liquid Edge was saying you should/must buy one, but that he thinks you greatly deserve one! And maybe SC should reward you for the incredible work you have been doing!

And I do mean INCREDIBLE Faxinadu!!

Thank you,
Cory

Re: John Bowen / Zarg Music With V7 64bit

Ah.

Good.

It’s the seq bug that does my nut in.

Bit more digging and it’s the async atom/dsp module that’s the issue.

Since initial release of Scope 7 SB404 now works perfectly as it should. (Step sequencer part of the synth now fully functional)

Re: John Bowen / Zarg Music With V7 64bit

for me ( Xite 1D, win 7 x64) the problems are the wav osc on Pro wave & solaris 5, which causes BSOD as soon as midi is played ,( faxi's STS fix doesn't work ) and the SEQ bug. It's a shame as John's synths are my favorites on the Scope platform Faxi does not have Xite. It’s a shame really. As a 3r...

Re: John Bowen / Zarg Music With V7 64bit

I’m on Xite win xp 32bit. Solaris works ok for me. Just browse presets at 1 voice and then up the voices once patch has been chosen. Very few patches can not go above 1 voice. What can be fixed though John, for Xite, as proved by sb404 being fixed. Is the step sequencer element. As yet the step sequ...

Wanted to make sure we wanted to keep the name "PlanetZ" still, and then I need time to remake it.    Seems as if the majority here want to keep the planetz name. I personally don’t get it. Must be sentiment! “Where does one go to chat about stienberg cubase” “Planet d ofcourse...

Re: christmas is coming!

Just out of interest.

The sequencer works perfectly on Xite.

What is it you did/do when making these devices so that the sequencers work fine on Xite?

Re: Key advantages of SDK over Modular III?

Step sequencers using audio rates doesn’t need to be on dsp#2.

all seq modules in flexor work fine on Xite.

Re: Forum Update

Cool update. Nice work.

Yeah I think it’s time to drop the planetz name. Makes no sense really. It made sense when the scope forum was part of johns planetz.

It’s now just a forum for scope and sonic core.

Re: STS Working in 64bit!

Great stuff faxi! :) I’m still a win xp 32bit os man at the moment but stuff like this is getting me closer to switching to 64bit. (I have a win 7 64bit hard drive sitting and waiting for when it’s time) Seems like nothing will be lost in scope now switching to 64bit. :) I would still lose some soft...
