well, the random flashing and switching of the samplerate is gone but the problem i have now are the clicks and crackles I get when I record using the wave source. I don't think it's the turntable because I have tested it with my synth and the problem still occurs..

I was recording some samples from vinyl. The recordings had some clicks in them, so at first I thought it was the vinyl itself. But after closer examination I found it wasn't. For some reason when I use the wave source my recordings have crackles in them. I have tried the asio source in my sequencer ...

ok.. In an act of despair I removed my pulsar board and took apart the Z-link plate from the dsp-board. Put it all back together and placed it back into my PC.
It probably is pure luck but everything seems to work pretty fine now??!!?? I just hope it remains that way...

I don't think so because when I disconnect the luna box and reconnect it the leds (red)light up for a moment.
I forgot to mention that when the box doesn't get initialised I can't run my sequencer software.. I get an ASIO error.
Maybe the pulsar 2 board doesn't run correctly... frustrating

Hey,

I've got a problem with my Luna 2496 box since I bought a new PC (asus P4C800-E deluxe MOBO). Sometimes the box doesn't get initialised, the leds won't light up . After rebooting my PC a couple of times, it will finaly run...
but this can take a while..

any ideas?

Hello,

I hope this topic hasn't been discussed yet, but I can't find it through the search function.
I've recently reinstalled everything on a new OS (Windows XP home edition). I've followed all the tweaks to optimize XP for music purposes.
I'm runnig Logic 5.5.1 and SFP 3.1c.
When I try to tweak a ...

Could someone confirm this?

I still prefer to keep my audio seperated from my other stuff (which can get quite messy), so that's why I would use 2 seperate partitions with the same OS.
But assuming out of the tip I should use Partition magic, their wouldn't be any trouble installing it twice on my computer.
I just want to be ...

Hello,

Could anyone tell me if it's possible to install Windows XP on 2 different partitions?
I would like to make 2 partitions. One for music applications and the other for internet/games/anything else.. On both these partitions I would like to install the same version of Windows XP.
But i was ...

Quite often the error appears shortly after I've started my computer. So I doubt if the temp inside my case is causing this error..

SFP is running in the taskbar, but nothing is loaded or running within the program..

I'll have to check the temp but I think it is quite stable.

Lately I'm getting this error message quite a lot: "Unexpected DSP overload"
Never had this before and doesn't cause any real problems but I'd prefer it didn't happen. Does anyone have a clue what could be the cause of this?

thanx!

I've just experienced something similar.
All the outputs of the Luna I/O box started to produce random noise, plops etc from out the blue. The main outputs from my pulsar II produced white noise.. And the input leds on my Luna I/O box started flashing randomly.. very weird and very disturbing ...

nope that was part of the problem... when I disconnect the luna box (pulling out the z-link cable) the noise disappears almost fully. But when i reconnect the box, the noise will be back instantly...

So does this indicate it's the power supply?

Tech support from creamware asked me the same question. And I've got a 250W power supply. I'll have to check out an other power supply..
But what do you mean with the Lunabox being powered by the PCI bus? I had to connect a powerplug from the powersupply to the Z-link so I would say it's being ...
