Re: Weird MIDI issues

Seems like it was a weird Windows issue - actually the PC went a bit crazy and I ended up having to uninstall the latest "Quality" update (ironic naming) and now things seem to be back to working.

That's what I mean when I say MIDI Keyboard device.

Will do more troubleshooting with MIDI-OX later.

Re: Weird MIDI issues

P.S. I ran the Scope 7 installer again, in case any dsp files etc. needed fixing/overwriting. No change after that and a reboot

Weird MIDI issues

Anyone have any good troubleshooting tips for MIDI issues in Scope (with Xite-1)? I'm using Scope 7 on Win 10 32bit and MIDI is playing up for some reason.

Initially connecting a Roland PCR800 and new Launch Control XL3 via USB into a CME H4MIDI and then forwarding to Scope Xite-1 MIDI hardware ...

Re: No compromise Windows choice for Xite-1

A bit off topic, but why Bidule vs. something like MIDI-OX and the built-in MOTU routing options?

What are you using, Valis, since you have a similar setup, no? Separate Scope machine?

No compromise Windows choice for Xite-1

Hi all,

I know this question has been asked a thousand times here, but I've been searching and searching and can't find a definitive answer to it. What would you recommend as the latest Windows OS version where I can get the maximum value from Scope v7 and Xite-1? Criteria:

- Compatibility with ...

Re: An audio player that works nice in Windows ?

Foobar2000 has always been my go-to on windows.

If you want something more feature rich then Roon is excellent. I pay for that and use it every day

Just dropped a few pennies your way! Good luck with the server move and hope you get enough donations to cover the costs.

Re: will this spring reverb work as an aux (impedance/RCA)

I've always used my behringer ha400 on line output from my mixer... would that also be an option?

I would have bought these if there was sane shipping costs to Germany: https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-sennheiser-hd6xx - incredible bargain for those of you in the states

Re: Please choose: Sony MDR-7506 vs. Beyerdynamic DT770

It really is a bit of a minefield. I recently bought headphones for "budget audiophile" listening in bed and ended up pretty happy with my choice. Arguably it would be a good option for transparent monitoring too. Some considerations I hadn't thought of before researching:
- the seal of the ...

Re: Please choose: Sony MDR-7506 vs. Beyerdynamic DT770

Recommend the Hiphop Evolution show on Netflix for lots of reasons, but particularly interesting to hear about the evolving production techniques.

It highlighted this same point of mixing for where your audience is. If they're listening on crappy ear buds, check what it sounds like there. For A ...

Re: CMS-1

Strange! I assume you've tried the obvious things, like restarting scope and/or your pc?

Other things that could be a problem would be if the c++ redistributable didn't install properly or if you have a firewall that is blocking the dll.
