Re: sdk example?

I just loaded Transplanet 3b in SDK 7. Took a view chicken/egg loops to delete all the Hardware IOs that didn't correspond to my board. In doing so I notice that the required RECTIFIE.dsp (Rectifier atom) is missing from the files, including the stecki atoms zip. As luck would have it, I found it in...

Re: Xite upgrade idea for portable

Thanks for the update Christian B. So no bandwidth issues yet? I recently received my XITE and can see that by cutting the back plate you could fit it in the smaller SEL...

Mmm... Vista recognised the Magma without drivers, it then notified me that two multimedia devices required installation. I used the Scope XP drivers and it worked fine. The install of Scope only worked when I right-clicked and selected Run as Administrator. You can also select the option to open in...

Hi

Did the MV test. ULLI - 7ms, 6 MVs before message, 7 MVs before recurrent PCI overflow every time I try to add another synth.

Recap:
3GHz P4D, 4GB RAM, Windows Vista, Addonics ExpressCard PCI-e card
Magma CB264, DEC chips (I think), Black cable, EC34.

Cheers

I've got Magma CB234 and two Scope Pros working via EC34 and a EC to PCI-e card in the desktop. It froze in XP but seems pretty solid in Vista (with Scope loaded in XP compatibility mode). Next I will try upgrading my laptop to Vista. The fact that the Magma doesn't need drivers in Vista, and the fa...

Magma with EC34

Hi I bought a second-hand CB264 and ordered the EC34 host card to plub into my new TwinHead Dualcore laptop. No probs on the installation and no probs recognising both the Magma (DEC chip version) and 2 Scope Pro cards. However, after about 10 mins of working the whole system freezes. Tau - how did ...

Thanks for response garyb. Mmm - that is what I thought to, but changing the sample rate has no effect (the sample rate box remains blank), going from Master to Slave has no effect. And I have reloaded SFP a few times and rebooted the machine all to no avail... I thought maybe its time to clean the ...

Has anyone seen this before? Note how all the devices are loading in software but not onto the boards. No error messages appeared.

I use the BCR2000, which is the same as the BCF but with rotary encoders. I had a few teething probs with third party synths, now all solved. The midi outs of all the devices send controller messages, so the faders on the BCF will update when you load a new preset. Two strange things do happen with ...

Thanks for the responses. I suppose I'm asking if it's worth the outlay of an upgrade for a Scope / Cubase setup. Interestingly I note that my machine is below the minimum spec for Cubase SX - however I have two Scope cards so I don't use the audio much. Still, it sounds like although 4 times the pr...

I'm thinking of upgrading my trusty 500MHz P3 to a 3GHz machine with latest RAM etc. From people's experience, is this likely to make a big differences to Pulser performance - project load times etc? The PCI limitation and the 60MHz SHARCs suggest to me that it would not, but I'd like to hear from o...
