new system for Xite 1D
hi there,
It's been a while, here on the forums, but also on my Scope rig. I've been doing music mostly on a mac laptop in Ableton, and my Scope machine has been in atOm his studio for a while.
Decided to let him have the computer with the PCI cards, and only keep the Xite 1D in a new machine. It ...

Re: Can someone help me fatten up Alaska ?
Someone should start an online service called 'Super Synth Rent Render' where you pay to upload a MIDI and get sent back a 96Khz wav rendered on your choice of provider's boutique H/W synth collection.
look around for a bit, and you'll find a studio like this one: https://soundgas.com/studio ...

Re: mandatory inserts ?
Well, some context might help. What genre are you producing? Something electronic? Or rather a more rock/traditional oriented style? A drum sound as if played by a drummer? Mechanical? Some names as reference will get you better advice.

I strongly suspect you're asking about a real drum kit. If so, check House of Kush videos and try to port his workflow/choice of devices to Scope:

well, for what it's worth, I enjoy drawing MPE curves over some ambient chords/pad in Ableton with Wavetable. Just beautiful...
It won't take too long before more budget friendly/smaller keyboards will hit the market.

yeah, I remember you being a true advocate of this synth. it's especially the feedback thing that interests me. I'm a sucker for unruly sounds!
I would settle for Wavelength's SparC as a favorite, although I also like C4T a lot as well.

[2] Is Scope 4.5 the last version available for OS9? Is it the recommended version for OS9?
[3] I know that commercial plugins are locked to a specific card. Will I only be able ...
