no insult taken

yep, am sure it is connected properly and it is the same ADAT cabling used by the music store.

But, as I explained, the noise occurs regardless of whether the A-16 is connected or not - it occurrs when I connect the virtual cables from ADAT SOURCE to MIXER.

I have had a quick browse through related threads but none resolved my problem.

I have recently purchased an A-16 AD/DA converter.

With NOTHING ELSE CONNECTED in the routing window, when I connect the ADAT source to the mixer within Pulsar2, I get a loud static - intense white noise with a high ...

hey nikko, thanks.

it's a pity that other software houses do not take the same care in listening to and resolving customer queries/problems.

i have several of your devices now ( including VerbPro ) and am impressed by their quality, stability and functionality.

Your suggestion worked first time

Just thought I would describe a recent issue i had with installing a Logitech Pro3000 Webcam onto my main studio PC.

When the Webcam is plugged into the USB port, it installs its own audio input driver for the onboard microphone.

When I connected the Webcam, it removed all of the input drivers ...

thanks subhuman/RyanC,

I am using W98SE (P3,933, 512RAM) so will give your suggestion a whirl and advise of the result.

( it seems a little draconian to have to revert to 9.03 to record 24 bit audio and extremely frustrating not to be able to use the powerhouse of new effects within SONAR because ...

Up until recently, I have had hardware acceleration at maximum. But after reading a few bits and pieces from various GOOGLE searches on system crashes, I tried setting it to lowest ( i also tried second lowest ). Dunno if it is connected but I am getting fewer (ie none !) system hangs/ blue screens ...

I recently moved from Cakewalk 9.03 to SONAR 1.3.1.

In 9.03, I was able to record/playback in 24 bit. However, in SONAR, I am only able to operate with 16 bit audio - 24 bit WAV files will load into SONAR - even displaying waveforms - but are silent.

Any suggestions peeps ?

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but how do I change the IRQ of my Pulsar card.

Pulsar II is currently on PCI slot 3 (because my system refuses to recognise the Pulsar hardware in the recommended PCI slot 2 or 4 ).

My Pulsar II card shares the same IRQ as my Matrox G550 dual head video card ...

It was a clean install of v 3.0 AND a clean install of W2K - so, version 2.04 was not even present.

Just an update, I did a clean install on a formatted HDD in Standard PC mode along with an 815 chipset upgrade. When I was installing 2wk driver in the "Install Hardware Wizard" i IMMEDIATELY got ...

I am sorry to waste everyone's time. I should have done a more thorough search of this forum before posting as there are several previous posts.

I still have the problem, but maybe, through all of these threads, i will find a solution.

hi fellow Pulsarians.

I have recently upgraded from W98SE to W2K ( with W2K service pack 2 installed ).

Both the W2K and Pulsar 3.0 upgrade appeared to go through flawlessly - with DEVICE MANAGER proclaiming that all devices and drivers are working "properly". ( I used the scopeWDM driver from ...
