Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

Hey guys, this is the same underlying Scope (v4 era) implementation on Analog Devices technology that was used for Plugiator and etc, implemented for a lower cost solution that is in-line with the tabletop trend that has been...trending...for some time now. It should work with Scope or any other stu...

Re: Old devices & downloads - do you have them?

Firefox for instance works fine, any Chrome derived browser does not as it will call the appropriate OS call when a file type is clicked that do...

sure they will. Supporting your anti-thesis: https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/ywyzm5/big-tech-lobbying-gutted-a-bill-that-would-ban-recording-you-without-consent Vice points out that sometimes those recordings are shared "even after users opt out of having their data used in the program."

Re: iPad Pro Apps Need Advice.

TouchOSC deserves more than a mere mention as well. You’ll also want to look at: AudioBus3 - for the inter-app communication inside iOS, essential AudioCopy - if you use any apps that can record audio internally or manipualte samples MidiMux - the best app to connect to external MIDI devices and yo...

Re: Security & Privacy with technology in 2018 and beyond

To bring us back to the thread here, note I've never disagreed with your thesis that there's little to no need to be 'modern' and 'connected' for a DAW machine. :D In fact, many of my friends from years past in the electronic circles have largely moved on from even using computers with the explosion...

Re: Security & Privacy with technology in 2018 and beyond

:D

How about this one, from the "Honesty is the best policy" department at Facebook:

Facebook accidentally put hidden messages like 'Big Brother is Watching' and 'The Masons Were Here' in 'tens of thousands' of VR controllers

Real life exceeded satire 11 years ago, and just keeps going...

This is a new site, and well worth checking periodically. While there are others out there that are similar, this one seems to have a very effective algorithm running behind it: https://www.breachclarity.com/

Ie, noise. Though I don’t know the frequencies at play with STDM this still ...
