Can't find drive on startup error
I recently installed and IDE zip drive on one of my scope PCs so I can transfer files to a sampler. After installing the drive, everytime Scope loads up it gives me an error that it cannot find a drive, and I can select cancel or continue. Either way it gives the same message window another few ...

Re: scanable wavetable instrument/module with user wavetable
Ok. That's what I thought, but I was just checking. I guess I'll just *have to live with* vectoring between sample oscillators in modular. We got it tough don't we. lol

scanable wavetable instrument/module with user wavetables?
I know you can extract single cycle waves with vectron, but is there a module or scope instrument that allows form scanable user wavetables. Like the waldorf osc, but with custom tables. I'd really rather not have to buy a microwave to satisfy this itch.

Re: Random Clicks on ASIO Playback
Thanks for the help everyone. It turns out it was the "turbo" setting in the bios that was causing the problem. Everything else was setup correctly. No more clicks. Very happy.

Re: Random Clicks on ASIO Playback
The card was sharing an IRQ with two of the USB busses. I disabled them in the device manager.
The CPU is a 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5-650 Processor.
This should have EIST, however I cannot find a setting for it in the BIOS.
Hyperthreading is already off.

This is a link to a list of the configurable options in the HP Z200 bios. There is no setting for EIST that I can see.

Re: Random Clicks on ASIO Playback
I went digging through the bios settings, and under the security tab, I did find some 'virtualization' options, but not ones named
Intel Virtual Tech
Intel VT-d Tech
Still, I turned those off.
Hyperthreading is also disabled.
I could find no entries in the bios for any of the following:

Re: Random Clicks on ASIO Playback
Thanks for the reply. Your advice on investigating the IRQs in the device manager was helpful. I'd reserved non-competing slots for each of the scope boards in the BIOS, but it seems like Windows 7 ignored that, and while windows reported "no conflichts" there were shared IRQs. I disabled the ...

Random Clicks on ASIO Playback
Since I've upgraded and transferred my scope system to a new computer I've been running into problems with clicks and distorted sounds when playing back wave files via ASIO from both Soundforge and Wavelab.
At first, I was concerned that there were problems with the recorded files, but if I loop ...
