Oscilloscope for wave control
hi, i was recommended to use an oscilloscope and spectroscope (FFT thingy) when using modular for better feedback on my sound.
have you any recommendations?
i was trying the WaveLab trial version which was great but it didnt recognise the scope ASIO driver.
any advice?

Re: connecting something to the clock input of the gate seq
i knew it was worth to wait!
thank you!!!
but still i didnt understand.
are you talking about a special module from CW?
every gate is tempo synced by the midi clock. but i want it to be modulated by an lfo (or to modulate the clock by lfo). the sync of the gate seq is for some other seq option ...

clock divider modulation.. or anything else for that sound
hi yall.
im new to scope, got my pulsar 2 + dsp card working a couple of weeks ago.
im studying modular 2, a powerfull synth indeed. and made this sound that i like. the idea is that an envelope is retriggered every 1/16th or other constant time. and the cool thing about it is that the sequencer ...

Re: RCA analog output vs optical digital output
ok, interesting.
fluxpod, did you mean the pulsar card or the scope card? (about the optical connections).
i saw the pulsar has some kind of connectors aside the D-connector. are those optical spdif?
and by opening the control panel, you mean the virtual control panel?
im just trying to understand ...

RCA analog output vs optical digital output
hi all.
im still waiting for my keys... but i started thinking,
all the audio from my pulsar 2 + scope card V1 (15 dsp)
is going to an external soundcard on another computer.
that soundcard has a free pair of RCA and it also has a free SPDIF optical (toslink i think) in and out.
and i thought it ...

Re: physical difference between scopeS/P and power pulsar
nice.
so my last two qeustions (hopefully)...
1)a realtime audio devices is... synths and effects. right?
and
2)so this is called a scope card? not a power pulsar or S/P?
does it have a special bundle (effects, synth or other licenses that come with it?)

Re: physical difference between scopeS/P and power pulsar
i am planning to install it on an old machine with xp and no sequencer to be used.
so this is not an S/P or power pulsar? what does it mean 1st generation? how many dsp does a scope card has, this looks like about 10 dsp.
and does anybody has a serious answer about the "why do i need dsp ...

Re: Everything works. not hearing anything
Hi all
thanks again for helping.
the edirol is a soundcard on another computer. i wanted to give pulsar its own machine (an old one, to match). so its my external amp... and i checked it (volume, connectivity, everything)
but Greg said something interesting.
i was wondering about it too.

Re: Everything works. not hearing anything
ok
cleaned the doughtercard. broke one of the screws but its ok.
vacummed it (didnt want to use alcohol or ether).
all this made the card flakey in the sense that it had some connectivity problems with the PCI.
"cant connect to the hardware" and stuff... eventually it connected.
but still same ...
