Re: Python Pro 1.02 on Scope 7 - Does anyone have this device working ok?

I would think it also needs to be confirmed if it works on XITE, but I dont see why it shouldn't. Well, I´d have the option using devices on XITE or PCI or both. With SCOPE 5.1,- I prefered using only the "small" ZARG devices on XITE-1,- incl. CombPlusPro,- which is also a discontinued one. I bough...

Re: Python Pro 1.02 on Scope 7 - Does anyone have this device working ok?

Hi Bud, just saw your post as I sent this. Yes its no longer on Zarg website, and very little info there other than a few comments saying how good it sounded and was a quite unique design. It is based on the Python modular patch, and John Bowen assisted the original patch creator to implement it as...

all the files are here: http://scope.zone/index.php?id=1978&lg=en&d_2336=server/public/scope/scope_plug-ins/john_bowen_zarg Sorry for chiming in here,- but I tried to find that device on ZARG website and it seems it´s discontinued as there aren´t any audio demos, screenshots etc.. I don´t know that...

Re: additionnal soundcard?

X 1D would be the best match but twice the price. As much as I love the SCOPE app and hardware,- I cannot keep quiet about "changing buffer sizes on the fly" was never possible w/ SCOPE and CW as also S|C hardware as it is w/ dedicated windows soundcards. That´s why I prefer running SCOPE and CW-PC...

Re: additionnal soundcard?

Why USB ?
I´d use that for laptops only, if at all.

With a desktop computer, I´d go PCIe also w/ today RME cards.
RME AiO http://www.rme-audio.de/en/products/hdspe_aio.php is a great card.

Re: Vectron WaveformPack + VectronController [Download]

Bud, yes it,would be great if the devs can figure out the cc assign bug. We'll have to wait and see. Even it´s a bit off topic here in this thread,- I think, the MIDI-CC assignment, it´s storage and recall should be changed, avoiding the handling of IMO obsolete MIDI-preset files in the presets fol...

Re: Vectron WaveformPack + VectronController [Download]

Essentially the cc-bug prevents us from mapping Scope-synths to hardware controllers and or working with automation in saved projects in any useful way - It is no small bug this. Fixing user assignable MIDi-CC preset system in SCOPE should have HIGH(est) priority for S|C ! But that´s just only me ´...

Re: Fastest Quad Is The Cheapest

8PCIe lanes seems plenty for XITE + M.2 and even thunderbolt. After that, what needs PCIe? CPU and PCH does ... what´s available is matter of chipset and mainboard design,- isn´t it ? I only know, Intel z370 chipset supports 24 PCIe lanes while Intel HM175 supports 16 only. The benchmark test (link...

Re: John Bowen about himself

Solaris synth name comes from this russian movie : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solaris_(1972_film) I've found the movie in VOST (russian + french subtitles) but you should find it easilly in english. It's apparently a response to 2001 Space Odissey that soviets wanted to release (1972) but Andreï...

Re: For the many, not the few.

modular works very well in the XITE. there are a few modules that don't work, but they are the same sequencer/sample modules that don't work in 64bit as a known issue. please don't make it look like the whole thing is shit. also- very nice for making this video! XITE or no XITE does not matter. it'...

What´s a used single Sync-Plate worth when pulled from a bundle ?

As a comparison I just loaded about 21 other synths all randomly selected and that loaded and plays fine, ... Which ? Are you able listing ´em ? Would be great to know what works flawlessly when loading and leaving alone w/ S|C´s XITE DSP distribution ! 32 and 64Bit separately please,- if possible....

Hi. Just wondered if I can use two A16 Ultra on one Pulsar II card at the same time (or Luna with zlink plate). My current system is Pulsar II and Luna w/Zlink plate connected to 2 x A16 Ultra´s via 4 x firewire cables . I would like to get more i/o and have now another A16Ultra at hand. But can I ...
