Re: Scope 7

Indeed. They're not show stoppers, we're aware of them so they can be worked around. Well,- there´s not a workaround existing for everything. I think most problems makes ancient 3rd party stuff,- not what comes w/ new SCOPE versions,- except: For the 1st time, SCOPE samplers don´t work on 64Bit sys...

Most PCIe > PCI expansion chassis don´t work as expected for SCOPE cards.
Possibly a Magma chassis does.

Re: Pulsar analog output is much quieter

Garyb wrote that there are two Pulsar models one with + 4db output and the other -20db output. My question is can anything be done without additional devices? No. He said there are 2 different output-plates existing,- "Classic20"and the professional balanced XLR model. The cards are the same,- but ...

orbiton syn-chrome offers similar. I like that very much.
How is crossfading betweem LP, BP and HP realised in Syn-Chrome ?

You just remind me on getting keys for the Orbitone devices,-

thank you !

Re: Oberheim Filter

Good point, I should have clarified. Something like the Matrix-6 or the OB-Xa. :) Matrix-6 is the easiest to model. It´s just only a 24dB LPF. OB-Xa used 2 CEM chips,- possibly 1 for the 2-pole (12dB) and the other for the 4-pole (24dB) filter. But I myself,- I´d prefer the classic SEM state variab...

I always liked the guys who had expensive drugs. 300 for an 8th was fine.
200 for an 8 ball of crap means you end up buying 2 of them.

Ah the lessons of life....

Re: Oberheim Filter

Was there an Oberheim like filter anywhere in scope, instrument or in modular? I use the SATURN device and like it (except for the old style saving), but was hoping there was another. Thanks! Re: ADA8200

The PSUs are really turds though. That´s why I never bought a Behringer converter. About 200 bucks for the converter and 250 for the mods is about 450 and leaves you w/ that crappy PSU which is well known as he achilles heel of the device. Replace that too for additional costs ... It´s much easier ...

Even the old converters like ADI-8 Pro are DC-coupled and handle CV.

Re: MINIMAX v7 GUI Pot Study 2020

We scope users can easily add different midi control surfaces to our loved Scope devices. We can also modify surface behaviours legally, as i did years ago also with Minimax to suit my workflows and caprices. So we users can live with our beloved Minimax mutation and SC developers concentrate on DS...

Re: stupid question ...

I never did this when changing slots. All you have to do is to care for the right scope-driver. ( I have 5.1 and 7, so I need to check it chooses the right one.) O.k, thank you ! Here it´s all SCOPE v7 x64 only. No other ASIO drivers installed, no previous SCOPE version. I´ve found out, on AsRock I...

stupid question ...

Well, when changing PCIe slots for XITE PCIe card,- do I have to install SCOPE v7 all new every time?
Up to now I did w/ this build, but that was at the beginning.
Meanwhile I have a lot more installed and if possible, I´d like to avoid new SCOPE installation.

no. right now, there are no easy fixes. it's better to focus on the big problems.

unfortunately I have to agree with you now :o OSC1-3 waveform GO ani-frames not correctly matched. frame range must be corrected ... faxi was allowed to pimp the sdk project, but he didn't think of the BUG, then he probably didn't correct the CC-BUGs, I have to check ...
