Re: Flickering meters on a16 ultra

Hi. Got a problem with one of my A16 U. The lights on all channels goes on and off randomly, at the same time. Like it gets a pulse from somewhere. It varies in “level”. Anybody had this issue before? I will change my he PSU with another one next time in studio. The zlink cables, And also check the...

Re: WoW For the first time in 15 years I have no clicks using the Wave drivers

It did make for an artform of using samplers as synthesizers that I think has been lost now. exactly ! However the timing in 64bit Cubase is pretty damn tight now  Which ? In-going MIDI (via USB) or outgoing (to hardware MIDI instruments) ? And when you say YES to outgoing and because you use...

Re: WoW For the first time in 15 years I have no clicks using the Wave drivers

Atari 1040ste was a path to Scope for me. I used to run a Digidesign program called Turbosynth that was one of the earliest things I saw that allowed one to use basic synth and effect modules and connect them arbitrarily. 8) ... I still have the original boxed Turbosynth,- Sounddesigner Universal a...

Re: WoW For the first time in 15 years I have no clicks using the Wave drivers

Bud My Atari st is in my mums loft - I used it for years and released many 12" records using that with outboard gear - but when PC's became powerful enough and reliable enough into storage it went..... Yup,- my MegaSTe 4 is now on a shelf too, didn´t use it for about 4 years now. Before, it worked ...

Re: XITE: old vs new PCIe card

Dont know about the PCI-e 1X Connector Card being different. o.k. ... Core 2 Duo E8600 was a great CPU. Conroe series IIRC. Which never was usable on the ASUS P5WD2 Premium because the latest supported was D945D https://www.amazon.de/Intel-Pentium-3-40GHz-800MHz-Sockel/dp/B0092L7OVG ... EVO M.2s ar...

Re: WoW For the first time in 15 years I have no clicks using the Wave drivers

Hey Bud It may sound weird to you but since windows 98 every system I have had since then has had crackles on the wave drivers [ASIO perfect though] and I have built 4 systems since then xp & sp1 W7 & W7 sp1 to win10 1803 using different mobos and cpu's. I went 64 bit about 2 years ago and still cr...

Re: Old freebie reverb

Bud, fwiw, I'm not with the times - at all. xp32, scope5. an old box a friend ditched 10y ago. I really love those stories and I myself, I´m far from buying/using the latest/greatest at all. if i have money to spare the next years, there's a whole lot of essentials that have priority over music gea...

Re: WoW For the first time in 15 years I have no clicks using the Wave drivers

Not since Win98 have I been able to play mp3 etc through the wave drivers without intermitent pops/clicks every so often - through many different mobos cpus amd /intel. My system had about 6 versions of cubase & wavelab installed and in the end Plugins weren't installing and plugin refresh was cras...

Re: XITE: old vs new PCIe card

Not sure if theres a difference but I dont see PCI Overflow messages if Im on a PCI 3 (blue slot). Yeah, but I´ve also never seen PCI overflow messages on ASUS P5WD Premium (socket 775) w/ just only 1 (one) PCIe x1 slot available,- this old (see above) XITE-1 PCIe card inserted. But I´ve seen many ...

also if you attach ".dev" to the file you can use it as an insert effect. cool ... 8) OT: Bud just thought I'd pipe in here to share something about my setup which I'm happy as a clam with. Re: Old freebie reverb

Yeesh, that is an old file, I gave it a .dev on my setup and keep it in Devices\Effects\Stereo\Reverb thx ... great ! Your plan on 64 and 32 bit won't work. The respective versions of Scope need to be operating under the OS of the same size. O.k., that´s what I feared ... (and why I´m urgently wait...

XITE: old vs new PCIe card

Hi ! To achieve max. data thruput w/ Z97,- should I get a/the new PCIe card ? SC XITE_PCIe card_old.jpg vs. SC XITE_PCIe card_new.jpg S_C_XITE_PCIe card_2.jpg It´s because I wonder if the early cards support PCIe 1.0/1.1 (250MB/sec) and the newer ones PCIe 2.0 (500MB/sec) already. I also got advise ...

Re: Old freebie reverb

As to your first issue, of the extension, devices from those days would typically be .mdl. So I would just append that to the file name. But Scope doesn't care much for file names or extensions. It's content that matters :) For your second question, of location: Scope doesn't care where you load th...

Re: Old freebie reverb

... Bud, .mdl was the extension for devices, too, back in the early days. Those devices would have preset list and midi CC# assignments saved by the user with the device, too. We'd save different devices with different preset lists and such MIDI assignments along with projects in their folders :) W...

The Source Audio Relflex Pedal I have does everything in CV and MIDI.
I googled and investigated manufacturer´s website ... very interesting.

But meanwhile, it seems to be not manufactured anymore and is sold out/unavailable here.

Its a killer Triple voice Pitch Shifter and Delay and its mother SHARC DSP 48k unit with amazing quality. great pic !
