using the modular in 2025
I was wondering what reasons people have to turn to Scope Modular, now that there are so many other options around.

So Scope 8 will never be available for PCI?

Re: Sonic Core A16 problem
Yeah, that's definitely a different switch. it's a push-in switch (there's probably a technical term for that)

Re: Sonic Core A16 problem
I don't much feel like taking it out of the rack for now. So we'll see how it behaves for now. I have considered bridging it, and that's probably what I am going to do at some point. But for now I don't know what switch is used.

Sonic Core A16 problem
I have a Sonic Core A16 (the one with an AC power supply)
Sometimes it doesn't start up. Sometimes it turns off.
When I keep the power button pressed, it functions.
Usually after a while I can get it to work, mostly by keeping the power button pressed for a while.

Re: Pulsar one or Pulsar two dilemma
I did exactly that. Now the difference is between 34 or 36 DSP's, so I think I should not complain too much.
I'll leave it as it is for now.

Re: Pulsar one or Pulsar two dilemma
To me, the original question was: now that I have the choice, would it be wise to invest in an extra licence, so I can leave the Pulsar1 out, and increase performance.

Re: S/TDM connection
I mean the first connector, not the first cable.
You have three connectors on a cable, and two cards. You plug the one on the beginning of the cable onto the first card. Will you use the second, or the third connector on that cable for the other card, leaving the other connector unconnected?

S/TDM connection
Hi all,
when connecting a 3 connector S/TDM cable between two cards, is there a preference for using the middle connector or the one at the end?

Pulsar one or Pulsar two dilemma
hi Scope friends,
I have a little dilemma which is sort of a luxury problem, and only the fact that I can have this dilemma does make me happy as a !@#$%.
The thing is, I have two large scope cards (a thing I thought would never happen), and a Pulsar 2 and a Pulsar one (which is my original card ...

Re: scope card errors and temperature
Well, I was just wondering. I have one card that's been recapped, but it's quite costly. The only service I know of is in the USA, and I am in Europe.
But that wasn't the reason I asked the question. I was just curious from a technical point of view.

scope card errors and temperature
Does anyone know if there's a relationship between temperature of the card, and error messages that show up?
I know those have probably to do with capacitors that are too old, but I wonder if cooling the card, or perhaps making sure they are warm, could have a (hopefully positive) influence?

Re: metronome in Cubase 10.5
I would gladly help out, but can you tell a bit more? Is it audible in just the recording, or also in the control room? What are your settings in the metronome menu? What Cubase version (pro, artist) do you use? Do you use the control room? If yes, do you use different monitor setups and/or cue?
