@wayne yes I love the radial diy too .the low frequencies are incredible ! the slight roll of of high frequency reject some harshness wich is perfect for piezo

I reacted about babaorum post and the need of a DI to avoid unwanted noise .
in fact I would add that I always use a DI before a preamp . Even with line source like hardware synth etc...
it's a good habit to have imho . I've got a preamp with an impedance matching pot and with this ...

no noise problem at all here . you have to use a good DI . passive DI is the best for noise rejection . I use a RADIAL .
no need of a gate. also a good guitar will help !

@dante : no problem to swap from speaker to speaker within a type of amp and related speaker. it's just that I want to use guitar speaker with bass amp head

yes dante it's what i've tried .
in DYNABASS on the speaker model I've only acces to the bass speakers and not all speakers (bass + amp ). it's the same in guit amp .. this time i've only acces to the guit speakers ...

finally i manage to do something very interresting with diode , inverter and frequency multiplicator modules on modular .

I use samplitude . i don't lower the fader in samplitude but samplitude send 32 bit data to the asio driver . so I think there is no particular reason to lower the fader . There is already plenty of headroom in 32bit .
I don't know how cubase work with the gain chain ?. so i let the fader to zero ...

no noise at all with the DI . I use a standard RADIAL passive DI (PRO DI ). I always use passive DI , the noise rejection is better imho.
we feel no need for a overdrive . allready plenty of "classic" distorsion . Next time I will try with my zvex mammoth pedal to have the FUZZ sound .

It sound a lot like ARP prosoloist kind of sound ( aka some tony banks lead synth on selling england by the pound ) .
you can easily emulate it with the minimax ( use only one or two vco )
