that was a new project.
So i've desinstalled app once again, and hunted all scope entries in the registry to eliminate them.
Still the same problem.
I've noticed that this is the same problem with the VDAT device.
If it can help you there's the tree of my xite dir in attachment.

Re: Bug in Scope5 for Xite1 with Samplers
I had a Pulsar I on this PC, but now, not any more.
I used desinstal prog once PCI card had been removed, but maybe something of the old setup is still there.
How can i do to be sure of that ? I would appreciate not format my hard drive and reinstall 7.
Thanx for your help.

Re: Bug in Scope5 for Xite1 with Samplers
@Xite/4live : except i see you're lucky to run many samplers in your project, i did not understand what i have to do => "Check your pm" ?
how to do to make a clean desinstall and a new reinstall ? because, of course, i 've tried to run again the install. And with the last that is on S¦C platform.

Bug in Scope5 for Xite1 with Samplers
Hi folks,
Everything seems to be fine in this new setup, except for all samplers (from the 2k to the 5k)
When i add one of them in the routing windows i've got :
"Can't find DSP file MVC STS 5000 VxD - Please Check Installation."
Enter OK then the sampler receives MIDI messages but not audio ...

... is that they access system memory for graphic purposes which in the past always compromised system performance.
Good notice, i did not think about this, and i was happy to find a solution not adding a card to improve air cooling and over heating in my box.

Re: My old "home studio pc" died
Ok, as you guess, i don't want to get bored with the graphics card, my wish is to drive 2 24'' screens only. No 3D.
So i've looked for a mobo with theses specs :
- ATX
- Core 2 Quad (775 Socket)
- DDR2
- 1 IDE
- 3 PCI
- Integrated Graphics Chip
And also, always for sale ! :D
3 Mobos only ...

Re: My old "home studio pc" died
Sorry for the unpolite MV reference.
MV stands for master verb the reverb plugin that is available to most of us.
Reverbs in scope need system memory. So reverbs stress the PCI bus.
So the number of concurrently running MV instances is a measure for the PCI performance of a particular motherboard ...

My old "home studio pc" died
Hi there,
My old "home studio pc" died, and so, i'm going to make a new one.
I've got a PulsarI and a Luna(without box) card.
I just want to do music with this PC (no gaming, no surfing, no video, etc. i've got other PC for that).
I'm using Cubase 4 for sequencing/recording and some VST plugin as ...
