Re: i can use 64-bit software? with old cards? Creamware 15

If you write a NATIVE 64 Bit application (which SCOPE 5.1 is), on a modern system (read ~i7, 8-12 GB RAM or more), it makes total sense. Scalability and performance goes up exponentially. Complex number calculation runs circles around 32 bit apps/systems. 32 bit systems/os/apps are not able to fully ...

Re: Scope PCI 64bit testing

I see. Will do. I cancelled as soon as I saw the German text. Not very intuitive, knowing it's usually separate setups. Thanks.

Re: Scope PCI 64bit testing

I got an email from SC yesterday announcing RC1 (release candidate 1) of SCOPE 5.1

I only see the german version ("DE") in the FTP... Am I missing something? The email didn't talk about language.

Thanks

Re: Album: All Life is One (Casio 8 Bit + Analog)

Very interesting story, and indeed what a coincidence about sampling the kid using the Casio. Thank you for your post. Do you happen to have a recording of the song(s)?

Thank you for taking the time to listen.
Take care

Re: Album: All Life is One (Casio 8 Bit + Analog)

Thanks for listening, and for the kind words guys.

My next album will be 100% 8 Bit: Casio SK-1 toy + Gameboy, recorded and finished in SCOPE of course!

If you like what you hear, please share the link with folks you know who would also enjoy the album. I appreciate the support between fellow ...

Re: Back after 2 years off - Really basic question about XIT

Thanks guys

XITE-1 is amazing then. I was dreaming about having 14 DSPs "one day" ... so the idea to have ~140 DSPs equivalents is ming boggling. HOWEVER the $4,000 price tag is way too much for me right now, so I must pass. I know I could trade my Pulsar 2 card for some $ (~$1,000?), but it's ...

Back after 2 years off - Really basic question about XITE-1

Hi everyone

I miss using SCOPE too much (Pulsar 2 card)! I still have my card, but took a break from music making to focus on family, and I want to use my card again... Waiting patiently for the 5.1 64Bit release (not beta) to come out. Since I'll be paying 200 euros to get that, I am contemplating ...

Something I love which hopefully will not be overlooked by people:

There is NO menu! Everything is in front of you, not "under" the hood of these boxes. This is BIG TIME the right way to go when designing hardware UI.

This reminds me of how the new Poly Evolver Keyboard is.

I really hope people ...

I hated my VIA chipset on ATHLON 900 a few years ago

it WAS a nightmare

BUT this is not just due to the fact that you are on a PC... After the Athlon, my 100% intel system (1Ghz) worked FLAWLESSLY. The new system I just got (3Ghz with Foxcomm mobo) has no problem whatsoever.

So... It does work ...

I have published several creamware-related reviews on my http://www.FutureProducers.com site (which is getting thousands of visitors each day). Hopefully it helps to make people aware of CW.

great tip there, thank you.

I like the Live Bar but find that I spend a lot of time "Travelling" between the STM2448 mixer and the Live Bar... This is more "in-context".

Take care

Thanks a bunch
