Re: 2 X PULASR II

I'm interested in one Pulsar II card. My own died a few weeks ago. Along with the keys for v7 and Dna devices. /deep sigh You can also get the card fixed. Most people say it’s usually the capacitors that need changing. I tried that. Twice. No good. And I'm very used to soldering. The card has been ...

Re: stop the kitchen invasion

How about this? For any new members to get their account activated, they have to provide a keyfile and a photo of the hardware serialnumber sticker that belongs to the keyfile? Otherwise they won't be able to post antything. That would kill off all spammers immediately.

Re: Sync Plate For Pulsar 2-Scope Pro-Power Sampler?

same for the original scope cards as the original sharc chips used are really cheap now
But that would still require a chip with a correct serial number, wouldn't it?

That sounds totally crazy. Almost like plugging a digital soundsource into an analog input. Or playing a data CD in an audio CD player.

Interesting noises your making. Sounds cool.

Re: OK Guys, another sale...

Yep, I got the DNA Patchbay too. It makes for more colourful Scopeing. :P

Anyone who made an order before me (06:40 AM CET) should get the DNA Patchbay.

Are there really so few Scope users around?

Re: Scope 6 preliminary ready for download?

Who knows. The year has only just begun. But a PCI-express card with 2 old and 2 new Sharc DSPs and STDM connection to the old PCI cards would be nice to have along with Scope 6...

Re: Xite-1 and VirtualBox

If VMWare can't access the Scope PCI cards/Xite-1, I doubt any other virtual machine can. Support for anything other than a generic DirectX audio hardware (read simple stereo-only SoundBlaster compatible) isn't something those developers spend their time on.

Re: Motherboard question

Nothing wrong with a motherboard for the AMD line of CPUs. I've been using AMD since before Pulsar 2 came out on the market and have had no problems. One argument in favor of AMD is the lower price. Gives you more money to spend on Scope plugins and other musical necessities.
