if I remember correctly Scope 4 installs a lot of devices that most people are supposed to have after lots of special offers and bundles, but in fact if you just have a plain old Pulsar One or a Luna you simply lack those keys. For example Synth&Sampler ...

Well 4.0 and 4.5 require new keys fro Sonic Core.
For 4.0 the new keys are free AFAIK , but you have to request it.

Maybe thats why you get these registry and copy protection troubles.

The SC ftp holds also 4.0 not only 4.5.
There is no public server anymore holding 3.x.

So the only way is to hope for a member here with a fast server.
