Yes you can. All i was trying to make clear was that all the software (samplers, synths, mixers ...

Just to answer your point 1, be aware that the Scope software is on the DSP, but any RAM required (ie. samples) will be from your computer. The STS sampler itself resides on the DSP card and has a trigger comparable to (and probably better than) hardware samplers.

I think 2-3-4-5 ms is ok, as long as it's constant.
