Yeah but this is far from being subtle. IMO. Should i post examples?w_ellis wrote:I don't think it's worth worrying too much. Each sampler instrument will have subtle differences in how it plays back the sound.

Re: Why? SampleDrum Oscillator or Sample OSC
Actually i had same idea (about scope having faster envelope) but you know what this could mean? That any other Native sampler such as Kontakt or Halion actually play sounds different i mean not in the way they where recorded. And i am finding this hard to believe. For example they sound same in Kon...

Why? SampleDrum Oscillator or Sample OSC
Why anything i load in SampleDrumOSC sound different then in any other sampler. Note that i am not whining - sound is perfectly useable. But i am interested why does my drum samples sound different in pitch when loaded. For example my 909 ride sound same in Kontakt, DirectWave or name it as you like...

You could try getting this : What about DSP load? Everything you need to know about it is here : http://www.scopedsp.com/products_multicomp.php ..about 2 DSP -- quote : "How Much DSP does it takes? The Multicomp PRO takes 2 DSP the LITE version 1 DSP. Both are included in the package But you m...

Re: Scope V5 and FL Studio compatibility
fixed size buffer is not used for delay compensation it is used to get better compatibility with some plugins. You can read that in manual. Scope XTC does not work in a way once when something from Scope is loaded it will produce weird song and hanging notes. Fix is on the way. Scope XTC worked in F...

Re: Scope V5 and FL Studio compatibility
I'm going to buy a 14DSP Pro card with Scope v5, but working mostly in FL Studio. So, I'm wondering, is Scope XTC compatible with FL Studio, especially if I'm planning to use lots of automation? I've read related topics on the forum, but whole the situation with FL is not yet clear to me... Have an...

Re: SCOPE 5.1
Not that i am a mind reader, but i guess there are shitloads of half-truths and misinterpretations in this thread. b) if you have a dual boot system (32 and 64 bits) you could boot your 32bit, install SCOPE, reboot, boot into 64 bit and launch the application. Well...you can not do that!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Re: SCOPE 5.1
Come on guys....geez, sometimes I feel like I'm dealing with a bunch of children. :o I said that I simply TRIED installing Scope on a 32-bit partition on a W7 Ultimate 64-bit system that I've otherwise been running 64-bit apps., and eureka it worked. I didn't do any workarounds or funny stuff. I ju...

Re: SCOPE 5.1
hi mpodrug, If you set up Windows 7 Ultimate (also Win 7 Professional but not sure about the other version of Win 7) with a dual boot Win 7 32bit and Win 7 64 bit, you can still see the other partition in Windows Explorer whichever one you boot into. It just shows up as a different drive letter. Fo...

Re: SCOPE 5.1
Again, I'm not lying, so please stop the subtle accusations and 'fanboy' finger-pointing. I said I got it to work by installing it on 32-bit partition, while installing and running the other host apps., etc. on the 64-bit side (using W7 Ultimate). This would obviously confirm that the driver...

Re: Scope in xtc mode + Protools LE 7.3 WORKS !!!!
I just remembered: It is possible to load multiple XTC instances without stuttering in a parallel (!) fashion, like with busses. Just like you would with synths. This means you will be able to load a couple of reverb sends, which is good news as while there are some great EQ and compressors in the ...

Hi janni. I've managed to run Modular as Synth and FX in XTC mode. Kinda cool. I don't have graphic problems as on your picture though. But i can't use that menu either. How do you open that browser for loading modules? Can you tell me is there any way i can set up modular to not ask for preset savi...

Re: Creamware-Sonic Cor
Here is what I don't understand: Virtually every person who has an interest in Scope based products visits Planet Z. It has been around forever, and it is a major information source for Scope users and prospective users, and thus is an invaluable marketing resource for Sonic Core. Yet they largely ...

Re: SCOPE 5.1
You might have noticed that real time is the only way to bounce scope to a sequencer. That is bothersome. You add it up with a lot of tracks and that takes a huge amount of time. I was told that it is impossible to use Xite without the SFP. I don't use XTC because it never worked well. Why are card...

Can you try with some other application? FL Studio or Cubase or something else. Midi jitter is known to happen as roy pointed out but not that much like in your case.

the only thing i "defend" S|C on is the charge of "lying" and "deceiving". they ARE slow. it WILL happen, unless people believe slanderous tales of corporate subterfuge and kill the company. actually, this would be Digidesign's happiest scenario... at least, if S|C is ...

Re: SCOPE 5.1
How do you know Sonic Core did not believe the estimation they gave where right and good? How do you truly know they gave many? Your acting as if they intentionally are lyeing and trying to disappoint wich i believe would'nt be a good thing nor benifit, i don't believe that is the case. I think the...
