Re: Can not send PM's.....
I did, but there was no need to strip the .sig, since it worked anyway... now you have one more useless message in your incoming folder... :) I don´t mind that at all...it´s so much better to have the problem with the PM nailed, or at least a work-around. Maybe John now can get the bug out of the s...

Re: Can not send PM's.....
Yes, and the solution for me was to deselect the option "Attach a signature" !
Hope that helps !

Re: Zangsta Floating_Freely
Jimmy, this is all loops... I intended to ad some more guitar..and that did not work out..not yet. I simply could not produce a decent guitar-sound that fitted in this context.. neither play anything worth a dime... I´m quite limited as a musician and guitarist, and rely on the sound for inspiration...

Re: 8 track tape recorder to Scope..
It´s an old TEAC 80-B, so I´d guess it´s consumer levels, could not find any spec on it, and I´m considering to use an defect Fostex RD-8 ADAT tape recorder as AD/DA, Fostex-data: ANALOGUE INPUTS/OUTPUTS • Connectors Balanced Two DB25 Unbalanced 16 phonos • Input impedance Balanced 10k(omega) Unbala...

8 track tape recorder into Scope..
I just got myself a deal for an old Tascam 8 track machine,
and an Aces B1618 mixer.
Next step, to get it connected to a Scope-card..
Do I need a mixer, or can I go direct from tape-machine through
AD/DA unit to scope ?

Re: G.O.S.T. Harmonic Effects System..
Sounds good basically, but something produces crackling, just slightly, and in the left channel. It´s not far from sounding like a real guitar...maybe less bottom (bass) and a more generally guitar-like eq (or a speaker-simulation perhaps...) and noone would hear the difference in a mix... Zangsta

The little 64th note buzzy sound prior to the kick drum. It gives an authentic sound and style of a real drummer. Great for fusion where everything goes. Ha...thanks for the tip, Jimmy, now I heard it..I was editing the beginning of this track, to start directly where the bass comes, then I heard t...

Re: Zangsta Winds of Change
I like the simplicity of the arrangement. Perhaps a lead line in the second half could have lifted the track from ambient background to a 'listening' piece. Have a listen to lan Parsons 'A Valid Path'. On this album, he seems to have mastered the art of lifting electro / ambient tracks to a more pr...

Re: Zangsta Winds of Change
Excellent ideas come wherever passion is ignited. The drums sound good for a freebie demo don't they. The Snare's reverb wasn't noticable till the end. I could here an effect but wasn't sure if it was a gate or not. I really like the little press rolls that give the drums their authenticity. ...

I´ve been busy for a few days, trying out new stuff, the Samplitude Music Studio 15. And in the process, I learned some new things about routing in Scope. Still a lot of learning to do...this can go on for ages.. This track is my first without loops. actually played my Novation XioSynth here. Drums ...

Here is one recording of a jam me and two friends once got on tape. A pure, 100% improvisation that stands out among most material i have from the seventies.. One of the few recordings from that time that I still enjoy listening to once in a while. This was recorded some week-end in the autumn of -7...
