I've got Vista and the software works just fine on it, so it's not a compatability issue.

I went to multimode and adjusted the "In Gain" and voila - a wonderful vocoder! Thanks so much for your help!

I agree that this would e easier with a preamp for teh mic though.

I did indeed switch to high. Maybe it was the microphone.

Ahhhh, Multimode is the key, OK, thanks! I will give it a try. And yes, I was practically screaming into the mic to get any signal so I'll need a preamp for sure.

In my software, on the Mixer screen I can definitely control the gain and pan of the Analog ins

In the software, would you not use the Mixer screen to assign the pan of the analog ins?

I've had a LOT of difficulty with the Vocoder as well. I couldn't get it to change patches, nothing. It sounded awful. On my old Supernova I just plugged in a mic and it worked.

I'd be interested in anyone who can answer this as well.

That certainly did the trick, thanks! I saw my Noah's mixer channel is set to 16 and sure enough, preset changes sent on channel 16 change the Performance presets (though a bit slowly, as you mentioned). Thank you so much!

OK, so hopefully this isn't too stupid a question, but I can't seem to figure out for the life of me (or find in the manual) how to change presets when in MULTI mode. Whenever I throw a preset change message at Noah, it changes only the presets in the respective slots of a Multi Performance, not the...

Whoop, what do you know. I stumbled onto the "PluginInstaller" Application and was able to get the Remote Software to install the EDSi8 and Prodesey editors. Who knows what I did, but it worked!

The Prodessey is installed on the Noah and works fine. What I need is the plug-in for the Remote Software. The FTP site has the Prophet soft\ware which I easily downloaded and installed but not the Prodessey. All they have is the "oxe" file which does nothing on my computer at all, unless ...
